Wolf Mates For Life Novels & Stories

Selene’s breath hitched. “Twelve wolves, taken from their packs, altered against nature itself. The ones who conducted the experiment sought to make wolves beyond death, beyond time. They wanted something powerful—something untouchable. They were changed in ways no one fully understood. Their aging slowed. Their wolves did not function like others. They did not pass on their traits to children because they never had children.” She turned the page again, her fingers tightening on the edges. “The twelve were supposed to be the beginning of something greater,” she whispered. “But instead, they were the only ones.”

I haven’t had a chance to question him properly about how their bond has been going – from the looks of it very slow and very delicately. “Hang on – did you say that their life forces are joined – what exactly does that mean.” Conall takes another serving of lasagna, to Sandy’s delight as he poses his question. Digging in while we figure out how best to answer that. “Well, wolfen have very long lives, we average around five to seven hundred years, so if a wolf has a human for a mate then they risk only having around fifty or so years with them, the mating ceremony binds their life to the wolfen and allows them to live as long and in some cases a little longer than their mates.” Sandy offers

She promised. "I'm telling you the truth. You are my mate. Wolves mate for life. When a wolf comes in contact with his mate he smells her. She gives off a special smell unlike any other. If she denies him or leaves him, the wolf will die." He explained. "My wolf claimed you as his mate. And I do to. Raeanne I love you. You are our mate for life. We will protect you and love you forever. We can never harm you. You never have to be afraid of that." He replied.

"I know, but let me try to explain. Wolves generally commit themselves for the rest of their lives. The lifetime commitment is especially true for werewolves. Every werewolf has what we call a 'lifemate,' someone you are destined to be with forever. Like... Like you mean—I hesitated with my next word—romantically?" He smiled. "you are adorable." I blushed deeply, and he laughed. "Yes, I mean romantically. Like husbands and wives in human terms. More like husband and wife at first sight because we know we're meant to be together immediately. I-I... — I didn't know how to respond. — And you think I am your lifemate?" Your expression intensified. "I do not think you are my lifemate; I know."

🐾 Alpha Jake After I left Pernwél in the kitchen with Myriam and Anna, I retreated into my study. I had to think over a lot of things. Wolves mate for life, and there is only one person in the whole of existence chosen for you by the Moon Goddess, or so it says in our folklore and legends. Sometimes it happens that one of them dies before meeting each other after turning of age, and in these cases, it could happen that you would find a second chance mate. It is very rare, but I’ve seen it once before.

Alpha wolf. Imogen watched with amusement as Gerard sniffed the air and visibly counted everyone in the room. On his third round of counting, the oracle smiled at his confusion. “Her wolf is waking up,” the oracle clarified for him. “So, yes, you scent three wolves.” “Don’t you have wolves?” Electra asked her quietly. “We are a blessed three of witches. We have no wolves, but together, we can channel the moon goddess herself,” Imogen explained. “Our mother was a witch, and our father was a Were.”

If I was going to learn about the world I was in, I needed to ask questions. “I will tell you, but it is not something openly talked about in the packs.” She begins. “So basically, not everyone who is in the pack has access to a wolf like you and Luka do. In the past everyone who has wolf shifter DNA had a wolf. But in the past 25 years. Less have actual wolves, just heighten abilities. “What does that even mean?” I asked confused. “No one really knows. Omegas were the first ones to lose access to wolves. There hasn’t been omega with a wolf in 20 years I think. But ones who had wolves at first started losing them 15 years ago.” Alex explained.

Kyde shrugged. “Oh, one thing though,” Reign started, “Kyde, there is a wolf sanctuary on your side of the territory. I started it several years ago, we take in abused, lost, and abandoned wolves. We take care of them, nurse them back to health and give them a safe place to call home. You don’t hafta worry about them, they won’t cause any harm to anyone. The Alpha female has a few pups of her own. She had them after she was brought here. The one thing I will suggest is to keep an eye on the trips if they are outside, her pups like to play and will drag them into their playtime. Actually, she helps us patrol the territory.” She giggled. “We can also mindlink with her.” Damien admitted.

"I’ve never heard of that kind of wolf before." Valarie’s lips curled into a knowing smile as she turned and walked toward a velvet couch placed near the fireplace. Her movements were slow and deliberate, as if each step was choreographed by wisdom and time. "Sit down," she said gently, pulling a thick, leather-bound book from a shelf. The cover was embossed with silver runes that shimmered faintly under the library’s soft lighting. "Moon Wolves are rare—rarer than Lycans, rarer than the Supreme Alphas. In fact, only two have ever existed... and both belonged to the Paleframe bloodline."

he mumbled to himself as he deposited Amari on the bed. She let out a low groan and attempted to pull the comforter over herself. "Stop, let me take your shoes off at least." Alexander received a semiconscious mumble from Amari, causing him to roll his eyes. She was such a brat, but at least she was preparing him for when they would have pups, whenever that may be. If he was lucky, she was already pregnant. They were young, but Alexander needed to secure his bloodline. Life expectancy for wolves was tricky. At any time, a war could break out, causing young male wolves to lose their lives. That was why many wolves procreated shortly after meeting their mates.
