The Solar Eclipse Pack was a small pack that consisted of about 500 wolves and 100 of them were warriors. they were located in the rural parts of Virginia, more specific closer to Marion, Virginia. They have been fighting other packs around them for months,because they were the smallest pack of the packs around them. Those fight were more for territory over anything else. The strongest of any of the packs around them was the Blood Lust pack. All they cared about was power and territory.

I needed this so badly. “It will hurt, Luke, I can’t stop it hurting.” “I know,” came his response. “Let me have a whiskey after and I’ll be fine.” He smirked. At least his confidence was still there. I stepped towards him, my gaze firmly on where I could see that vein in his wrist. I could hear it, it was all I could hear. My wolf had finally stopped pacing in stroppy circles, and was instead staring intently forwards, growling. I felt his flinch when my teeth sank into his wrist, his breathing quicken and his body tense.

As we walked, the soft thud of our footsteps echoed through the solemn space. Jeremiah, a wise and weathered wolf with a graying muzzle, carried an ancient book in his hands. Its leather cover was worn, its pages yellowed with age. We reached a magnificent wooden table, carved with the same designs, and Jeremiah gently placed the book upon it. "Lyra," he began, his voice deep and resonant, "this book holds the secrets of our pack's legacy, and within its pages lies the tale of the Silver Werewolf." My curiosity piqued, I leaned in closer, my eyes fixed on the book. "Tell me, Jeremiah," I said, my voice filled with anticipation. "What is the story of the Silver Werewolf?"

Instead, I decided to go to the library that I hadn’t been to yet. I walked in and there was no one there. So people could just go in and take a book if they wanted, but there were tables and chairs, computers and couches set up everywhere. It was actually a really big library for an army base. I started searching through the books until I finally found the ones that I was looking for. The books that had documented white wolves over history. Werewolves were notorious for keeping records and I was glad that they had these books on white wolves.

Huge is an understatement of how the library looks. “You're cute.” Billie says, looking at me softly. I ignore her and run to the first section of books. They are so pretty laid out that I don't want to stain them with my touch. I've found my spot here. “Where can I find books on wolves?” “Come with me,” Billie leads us to another section at the end of the library. I wonder why it's this far. “Humans with wolves are called werewolves and werewolves are blessed with a second half which are called soulmates,” she plucks out different books and places them on the small coffee table.

“Come here.” Lucien pulled me into a warm hug. For the first time in my life, I felt whole. I was no longer the broken girl who didn’t have a wolf. My father’s death had ended the war, but my mother’s confession had given me back my power. I couldn’t wait to meet my wolf. Annie spent the rest of the afternoon catching up on some work for the following week as Hugh lay on the sofa reading the book that he had borrowed from her house, he found the chapter on Werewolves and started to read. “You sell this in the human world?” asked Hugh. “It tells them everything about us, how to hurt and kill us, isn’t that dangerous?” Annie looked round at him. “No, that book was published by wolf publishers for the wolf world. I wrote two versions, one for us and one for the humans.” “There are wolf publishers?” he looked surprised.

I froze on the spot, what was this wolf doing here, why was he helping me out. What does he want, is he going to injure me as well? He didn’t look like the wolfs from our own pack. They were a lot smaller. The wolf walked to me, I just stood there unable to move. Then the wolf stopped right before me and looked at me. Then it hit me, that same scent from the room at the guesthouse, this is the wolf of the Alpha that was sleeping in that room.

They were fighting for their homes, their children, their future. Elif shifted into her white wolf form and leaped onto the wall. The golden light of the First Wolf blazed beneath her fur, and the half-bloods around her howled with renewed courage.
