Triplet Alpha Claim

Triplet Alpha Claim

"You were not just stabbed, Phera. That weapon was soaked in wolfsbane. It inhibits our natural healing ability. It's toxic and dangerous, and it's slowing down your recovery." Axel chimed in, nearly cutting Damon off in his haste to speak. "However, the doctors say you're doing better than they expected. Your wolf is strong; she's fighting off the wolfsbane more efficiently than we've seen before. You should be back on your feet by tonight." "Tonight?" I echoed, incredulous. "I can't even believe we're having this discussion. Wolfsbane is not something to mess around with. But wait—what were they even after? Did they steal anything? Kidnap anyone?"

the book is good but could use a little bit more proof reading. some different phrases as well instead of saying the same things to each of the brothers. they have different personalities so it would have been nice for it to have been more personal with them. it was a good book none the less.
Victoria Star
it's a good story but author need to focus more on math because is really bad. FL is ninthteen and was in school for eight years so she must go there when she was eleven, but author told us that big heart broken was when she was fifthteen what is four not eight years ago.

Claimed By Wolves

Claimed By Wolves

"You don't smell like a wolf. Not completely." "I'm a wolf and…" Mayia hesitated, and her gaze flickered to Fagua before returning to me. She closed her eyes and whispered, "A vampire." My eyes narrowed. As I'd suspected, she was a vampire, but only half. Still, it made no sense as to why she was even here. "What the fuck?" I blurted because wolves hated vamps more than witches. And vampires loved to kill as many of us as they could. How the hell had two arch-enemies mated?

 Sheryl; Alpha Ashton's Beloved Mate

Sheryl; Alpha Ashton's Beloved Mate

“Wolfbane is extremely damaging to your wolf. It typically makes your wolf sick and weak. You haven’t gotten her yet, so she can’t be killed. But it’s going to keep her away until it’s fully gone from your system.” My heart felt heavy as he spoke those words. My poor wolf… I sat up in bed, allowing the cloth that was placed on my head to fall onto my lap. “Don’t worry, Sheryl bean. Wolves are extremely strong. Especially a Volana wolf. She’ll be okay,” he told me, reading my expression. “When I find out who did this, I will make them answer for their crimes.”

The Wrong Alpha - A Twist of Fate?

The Wrong Alpha - A Twist of Fate?

What a psycho! Wolfsbane is a poison for werewolves, small amounts of it can temporarily inhibit the abilities we have for a short time until it’s out of our system, whereas in larger quantities it can be deadly. Why would she even think of using that on me? Why would she even have me here?! “Why am I here” I ask her. “Where am I?”

When Two Worlds Collide

When Two Worlds Collide

I clung to the hope that she never properly rejected me and therefore was protecting me. Dr Sven had opted to use wolfsbane to curb Blaze’s erratic behaviour but I had refused. Using wolfsbane was toxic to wolves especially if used frequently. I would only ever use it as a last resort on anyone. It’s effects on a wolf were similar to a human using the drug methamphetamine. The high was euphoric but the coming down was painful and debilitating especially after prolonged use. May rouges used it before battle and would often become addicted to wolfsbane afterwards.

My Alpha, My Hellfire

My Alpha, My Hellfire

I searched inside me for a pain of my own but aside from freezing my ass off in my naked human form, I didn’t feel anything else. “What’s wrong?” I asked her in worry. “Wolfs bane” she whispered softly. I cursed silently. Yeah, that answers the alive or dead question. If we have wolfs bane in our system, we’re definitely still alive, and are definitely going to suffer and wish for death without getting that wish. Not for a very long time. Wolfs bane is very toxic to the wolf but it does nothing to the human body. It numbs the connection and prevents the wolf from shifting or lending its powers or healing ability to its human host.

The Luna of Rain

The Luna of Rain

“Here’s a lesson for you all. The effects of wolfsbane came in three stages depending on how much you’re hit with. Stage number one: you feel a burning inside your body. You feel like you're lit from the inside out and it makes it difficult to concentrate on anything around you. “Step two: the wolfsbane separates you from your wolf. When that happens, your strength, your eyesight, and your hearing all goes back to human standards. Now would you run and hide and let your fellow warriors fight the battle or would you continue to fight even if that meant as a human? “And finally, step three: death. You and your wolf die.” The whole group was silent, focusing on every word out of her lips, compl

The Alpha's Redemption

The Alpha's Redemption

Wolfsbane was the most deadly thing to wolf. Within minutes, it could shut down the organs and kill a wolf. Thankfully, Brie must have taken only the sip of the wine, that was why she was developing boils. “Wolfsbane?!” someone in the crowd was saying, bringing me back to earth. “Wolfsbane?! How did she get access to wolfsbane?” “It wasn't me!” I was finally able to scream. “It wasn't me!” I repeated.

Wolf's Pet

Wolf's Pet

Jeff looked up when he heard someone walking in the door. Xylon could barely contain himself as he sat down on the other side of the desk. "It worked! The Dire Wolf Gene is turned off. In fact, it's totally disabled. They tried to turn it back on and it was just down right dead. The antidote apparently can keep it from ever being turned on again." Xylon was grinning ear to ear. Of course, in his excitement, his Greek accent was thicker.

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

Sylvie Rose: Mea Potentia Ultra

After listening a little further, we found out they are talking about wolfsbane bombs. Wolfsbane can be deadly to wolves. In tiny amounts, it can be a strong pain killer for us but larger amounts will suppress our wolves and cause a horrible burning throughout our bodies. The amounts in a wolfsbane grenade or bomb would cause an excruciating death and keep our wolves from warning anyone else. I really didn’t think they knew anything about werebears because I wasn’t hearing anything that would suggest they knew how to torture or kill us. I smiled as I listened to the feed, “They don’t know that there are other species to worry about.” Grandma laughed, “They’re about to find out.” I laughed wi

I absolutely love this book as much as all the other's in the series. You can read alone, but reading the entire series makes it that much better. I am so excited for the next book. If I could rater higher than 5 stars I would!!! It would be great to have these as hard covers or paperbacks ...

I love reading this book. What it says is true. it can definitely be read as just a book on its own and you won't have any issues following the story line even tho it's a continuation of the series. Such a great book and I can't wait for the next one.
