The bright purple liquid in the vial was unmistakable—I knew exactly what it was. I tried to scream, but nothing came out. I began to thrash and struggle, tears welling up in my eyes as I tried to plead. It was wolfsbane, one of the deadliest poisons to werewolves. It wouldn’t kill, but it would put one through unimaginable pain, depending on the exposure level. "Are you willing to tell me the truth now?" he asked.

Come on! When she refused to say anything, I reached into the bag I carried with me. Neatly packed inside in a way that wouldn't affect me, was wolfsbane.
