They were so similar in their mannerisms. ‘Anyway,’ The teacher continued with his lecture, ‘Yes, Wolfsbane is the most toxic substance for werewolves. Small doses can be used to weaken us, similar to a tranquilliser; but with our rapid healing speed, we can endure a small dose, or a light brush against the natural plant, once in a while. However, with enough doses over an extended time span or a high concentration all at once, it can be lethal…’ ‘Thank you,’ I whispered to him next to me, looking down, as I wrote notes.

Sabine pointed to some seeds that if I didn’t know I would have said that it was red pepper flakes. “Condiments?” I answered, raising a brow. “No. Wolfsbane” she said moving towards the coffee mugs. After sniffing a bit she lifted the mug and carried it to her lips. “I am not sure how you like your coffee but personally I find the coffee with wolfsbane too sour for my taste.” Sabine said, mocking us. “Wolfsbane? Are you sure?” Stefan asked and she nodded. “Go ahead and drink it, if you don’t believe me” Sabine told him.

He leans against the table next to me. I hold nothing back. "Wolfsbane." A languid smile stretches across his mouth. "Are you kidding me? I thought you wanted me shut." I shake my head. "You don't get it, do you? Wolfsbane has been extinct for a while now, once injected it mixes with our system and has a reaction double that of flatware, it causes the inside to sting and burn then lesions deeper than a leprosy will be seen outside. That is by far the most torturous death that could befall any wolf. Too many pieces of him are invested now, we don't know his next step."

Cara, my wolf, said "What is wolfsbane?" I asked "It is something that weakens someone's wolf. If you were a normal wolf, I wouldn't even be able to talk to you, but since you are a Red Wolf, I can. The wolfsbane is wearing off faster than for normal wolfs. I should be able to shift and contact Gwen's wolf soon," Cara said "How can you contact Gwen's wolf?" I asked "We are fully Mated, Little Human. I always talk to her wolf. Though I have been mad at her because of Gwen siding with her dad. Anya has been trying to talk sense into her human. I hope Gwen finally figured out Gary is up to no good," Cara said

’ I tried to calm Smoke down. After several days of research, we discovered a risky but necessary solution to tame Smoke which is the use of Wolfsbane. Wolfsbane is dangerous to wolves, it is capable of weakening wolf’s sense and strength. Wolfbane is the only solution to keep Smoke subdued. Without wasting time, I began injecting small doses of wolfbane into my system. I sometimes I add it to my water and drink while Smoke became weak. Every dose of wolf’s bane in my system made him weaker and I have total control over my action.

“I want you to stay as far away from him as humanly possible. I don’t want you digging deep into this. I could get you some money, and you can leave the city—” “You know, he warned me you would say something like this. He told me about how good the wolves are at brainwashing humans. They’ve brainwashed you too Tessa, and now you’re playing for the wrong side. I won’t let them cause any more damage than they already have. I’m going to help you.” “You don’t understand anything.” “I do!” I understand everything, and that’s why you have to trust me on this one.” She walked to one of the kitchen drawers, took out a small vial, and placed it on the counter. “This is wolfsbane, it’s very deadly to

Rhayden had put us in a god-damned kill box. As if he had read my mind, Rhayden replied from behind me. “Relax Mars, they are not getting in. Wolfsbane.” Wolfsbane only stopped a lycan for so long. It was near fatal to them in werewolf form, but the human side of them, it was merely an irritant. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Rhayden as he held up a knife. Infused with silver, he grinned and stepped forward. “Your favorite weapon.”

I asked in a confused tone. “Well, as far as I know, wolfsbane is the best way. Wolfsbane burns us. We can’t drink it but when it comes to foxes, just like vampires, they are unharmed by wolfsbane. So, we can differentiate between them and us. You can even throw wolfsbane water on them and if the person is okay, he or she is not a werewolf, simple!” Caleb replied in a casual tone. “Wow, Caleb, you are a genius!” I said excitedly.

added Amelie. "Wolfsbane is made from a plant, a rare plant that grows from the blood of a sacred werewolf sacrificed thousands of years ago to stop a war between the packs. It appears in the ground where he breathed his last and grows only when there is a perfect full moon in the sky." "A rare plant that grows from the blood of a werewolf, and this plant can be poisonous. It even weakened them earlier... if so, why didn't you use this thing to defeat them from the beginning?"

even the Alpha. Balthazar could have been anyone, but he wasn’t. He was a monster, like all wolves, and a worse one than most. It was he who directed the wolves of Banglador. It was he who plucked a Hunter from his horse without a sound. It was he who was mysterious as the shadows. And it was he who Lunus was determined to kill with the shining frame a single silver bullet.
