Wolfsbane Werewolves Novels & Stories

Chapter 63 Karien’s Pov “Do you have any idea what you are blabbering about? You want us to protect our enemy, the vampire’s enemy. Have you lost your mind?” the guy next to Brandon jumped in anger and shout. His reaction was acceptable. Werewolves were the biggest enemies of Vampires. No clan would accept my proposal but I knew exactly what would make them agree. I took out the blank check from my suit pocket and signed it. Placing the check on the table, I said, “ I know what I am doing. Now you guys decide what you wanna do. Fill the blank with your price or die. It’s your choice.”

Nina, short for Nicolina just turned eighteen in the month of the full moon.Although, considering the fact that she'd get to finally see her wolf form and get to know her mate, she wasn't happy. The vampires and werewolves lived together in harmony ages past until a werewolf and a vampire violated the code and everything was ruined. They were at serious war that not only claimed the lives of many of them but that of Nina's mother also-the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack, her father being the Alpha.

A rustle of snow. A shadow moved. Then— A lone wolf stepped out of the darkness. Massive. Black fur. Eyes glowing silver. Rylan stiffened instantly. “Not possible.” Kade swore. “That can’t be—” Lyra’s heartbeat tripped. The wolf lowered its head… in a bow. “What is that?” she whispered. Rylan’s voice was barely human. “A sentinel.” Lyra’s breath caught. Sentinels were ancient wolves said to serve only one bloodline—one house. A house believed extinct.

Where once had been two men—leaders, enemies—there were now two massive wolves. Triston’s wolf hit the ground first, white fur and golden with eyes like flame, his claws cutting deep into the soil as he landed with a low growl that rumbled like a drumbeat of vengeance. Reyes’s wolf followed—jet black and sleek, larger, darker, a beast that looked as though it had been forged in shadow and fire. His snarl echoed over the field like thunder cracking open the sky.

The room felt less ventilated. No one was settled; everyone had gloomy looks on their faces. Fear spelled itself out clearly in our eyes as we watched Teagan groan in pain. Wolfsbane is also known as a toxic plant that spells death for werewolves. It has the power to prevent them from transforming into their wolf form, weaken them, or, in the extreme, eliminate them. It was the best-known poison that all werewolves ran from. Its power most graciously gave a surprise toxin; none stood before it.

Rhayden had put us in a god-damned kill box. As if he had read my mind, Rhayden replied from behind me. “Relax Mars, they are not getting in. Wolfsbane.” Wolfsbane only stopped a lycan for so long. It was near fatal to them in werewolf form, but the human side of them, it was merely an irritant. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Rhayden as he held up a knife. Infused with silver, he grinned and stepped forward. “Your favorite weapon.”

‘Now is not the time, Bane,’ I warn my wolf. ‘But we’re horny…and Alisa is so hot. Feel her touch Ryder, feel the softness of her skin, the suppleness of her breasts, the lushness of her full lips, the tightness of her -,’ Bane whines like a lovesick pup. ‘Shut up. We have a war to wage.’ ‘But-‘ ‘No buts. We can have fun and games after we set things right. Our pack waits for us, we mustn't let our werewolves down.’

Roman cussed but still tried to come to terms with the plan “It worked didn’t it? Not in the way I planned but nobody got hurt so it’s a win win” Lucas got up from the couch and headed to the mini bar for another drink “Sorry if I’m not catching up” Harley chuckled confusedly “but what is wolfs bane” “It’s like plant, also known as aconite and it’s pretty dangerous to werewolves. It can weaken or shut down the whole system once it gets to the heart.” Lucas explained while pouring himself another glass of bourbon

Werewolf hunters in the past used wolfsbane to harm them apart from the silver bullets used in killing them. Wolfsbane was a plant used to poison werewolves. The plant had purple flowers but was very fatal to wolves. A lot of wolves made it their life's mission to destroy as many wolfsbane they could find. It was also taken by some wolves to weaken them during transformation but there were no wolfsbane in Moonsville or so he thought. He got a call from a Beta about the attacked wolf and decided to check the library for the hidden places his people could have missed in the past.

I said. "I really don't know, Louisa. But now, we need to focus on how to bring you back to life," my wolf said. "What can I do? I can't die like this. I can heal myself... I'm undead!" I said. "Wolfsbane is a lethal poison for wolves. It is killing your organs and prevents them from regenerating themselves. Doctor Jafar is trying to let it out of your system by draining your blood. The only thing you can do right now is to stay awake with me. Can you do that?" my wolf asked.
