No I refuse to go to a loosing battle.” She laughed then smiled while looking at me like I was a fool. “Wolf we get weakened, not you guys. The wolves also unsheathed their own, their claws ringing out. The duel began, blades flashing in the moonlight. My speed and agility countered their brute strength. With a swift kick, I sent one of the wolves crashing into a tree. He sprang up, snarling, and launched himself at me. Our bodies danced, striking sparks. I landed a lucky blow, slicing the wolf’s cheek. Enraged, he rushed towards me and I sent it kicking again towards the tree. Its head hit the bark and he fell unconscious. I faced the other wolf.

Kaden’s POV I was determined to kill the wolf, my claws digging deeper as its growls filled the air, but the next thing that happened completely shocked me. Out of nowhere, more wolves started to crawl out from the woods and all of their eyes glowed the same deep red as the one I already had in my grip and out of pure shock, I dropped the one I was holding down. It fell to the ground and I staggered back, my paws digging into the dirt. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

She then asked, intently staring up at me with those beautiful green eyes, making me want nothing more than pull her closer and kiss her senseless yet I held myself together and answered her question instead. “No, he’s safe.” “Can I see him again?” I only nodded, feeling her reluctance through the bond once I tried to pull her a little closer, over and over again thinking about the fact that in her eyes, I was nothing but the big bad wolf. “I think you should properly meet each other, my wolf and you...You should see it with your own eyes, he doesn’t want to hurt you.
