Woman Reading Books Novels & Stories

There were tall shelves that reached to the ceilings, filled with books and what looked like small bottles. A woman came into my line of sight. She wore a black gown that flowed to the ground. She also held a giant book in her hands, which she read from though her lips barely moved. She paced the floors, and the candlelight whished with her movement. I groaned, the discomfort of the rough ropes that dug into my wrists and ankles becoming too much to ignore. Upon hearing me, she paused and turned to me. Her face finally came into view. She looked aged, with deep-lined wrinkles etched into her skin. Her thin gray hair hung down her body in strands, and her eyes were so white they unnerved me.

I focused my eyes towards the direction of the noise and sure enough, the small woman walked our frim between two large shelves. "Queen Frost." Lady Waina greeted as she walked over to me. Once she reached the table next to me, she pulled a chair out and sat down. "To what do I owe this visit, your grace?" She asked as she narrowed her cloudy eyes at me. It is obvious that the woman can't see but the way the cloudy orbs traced my covered face made me feel like she was in fact staring at me. "I came here for a book of records." Lady Waina sighed. "Of course, it's always about the books. Which book would you like?" She asked, her feature suddenly shifting to annoyance.

An old woman wave from the other side of the road,castus ride over looking at the almost run down library she's in "in need of a book?" "No" The old woman let out a snicker. "Same as you all,the new generations are always different not interested in anything but bread like the brown and blue haired girl,always hungry for something other than a book"The old woman remove her gaze from castus,he frown and descend his horse. "Brown and blue?that sure is weird,how much is the books?" Castus mask his curiosity by checking the books. " It's free, it's free"The old woman beam " Take any as much as you want"

Isabella I took three deep breaths in Mia’s office before venturing out into the unknown. The first hall we went down led to double doors that opened to a library filled with books. There was an English and a Spanish section. Both contained everything from how-to books to fantasy and romance. Besides the shelves and books, the furnishings included multiple tall tables with chairs as well as couches and comfy chairs. As we stepped out to leave, a woman nearly ran into us. She was pretty in a nondescript way. Wearing blue jeans and a white tank top, she was easily ten years my senior, which didn’t make her old.

She didn't look happy that I was here, so I thought about taunting her. "Well Minerva, you thought you could hide from me huh?" I said smirking at her. "Actually no Thomas, I have Alpha things to attend to so unfortunately I'll need you to leave me and my office." she said flatly. "Well excuse me, I'll be in your library when you want to find me." She went to looking at her computer and waved me off. I walked out and headed down to her library, it was there I came across a small framed woman with red hair. She was a pretty thing but she looked at me like I was dead meat.

Well, not anymore, I guess. A woman with short dark hair and heavy makeup is sitting behind the counter reading a book that I can’t see from the raised side of the counter. She’s pretty and young, but probably older than me. It’s hard to tell with the makeup. Her lips move silently as she focuses on pronouncing the words to herself. She turns the page and giggles, holding her hand over her mouth, then continues reading with a huge grin on her face.

“It’s really important, but unfortunately I can’t tell anyone what it’s about.” The woman didn’t say anything for a few long moments. Finally, she pulled the door open the rest of the way and gestured for me to come in. “Do you want tea?” I shook my head. “No, thanks. I just need to see your rare books. The rarest of the rare.”

It was as if someone opened a door and let it some cold , chilling air. Xavier’s gaze snapped to me. I didn’t look at him. I couldn’t. "And the woman," Luna added, frowning slightly as if trying to get it exactly right. "The old woman." My throat tightened. No.No, no.... "She was sleeping," Luna went on, her voice softening in that innocent way children have when they talk about things they don’t fully understand. "But not really sleeping." Silence pressed in harder. "And she had…" Luna lifted her small hand and touched just under her nose, demonstrating. "The pipe."

like a big deal, I noted reading through so interesting titles, but not the specific one I was looking for. I swooped through the titles vainly searching for the one book I needed, to no avail. I groaned turning around, leaning on a shelf. I watched as a woman came into the row with a bunch of books in her arms and started packing them. A librarian. Bingo. I walked towards her, tapping her on the shoulder, "excuse me miss," She turned towards me, pushing her glasses down. She looked a little over forty, with hints of wrinkles but luscious brown hair pulled up in a bun. She wore a plain grey dress that went a little way past her knees.

She had wondered privately if the stink of the city alone could coerce her to follow her husband’s command to stay indoors, though she considered it highly unlikely. As she had paused to examine the books lining the shelves, the faint beginnings of her good humour had fled. The titles on the spines leered down at her, the jagged lettering contriving rotten faces of their own. Woman and Sin, they read. The Keeping of a Good Wife.
