Word Count In A Novel Novels & Stories

Hi Precious Reader! Thank you for picking up this book and getting to this point. I am so happy that you have decided to embark on this journey with me. What do you think about the protagonist? The book is updated on daily basis, and I write between 1,600-2100 words in a chapter.

I wish I could respond to the comments here on GoodNovel, but that is not a feature that is easily accessible for authors on the desktop. This chapter is a little over 1500 words on my end so I believe it will become 2 when it updates. As I get closer tothe end of the book, I am going back to clarify things for continuity. So baring with me and sticking it out, means more to me than you could possibly imagine. Second, I want to say this is not the end. This is an intermission. A break or hiatus if you want to call it. With updates being so scarce, I’m sure you’re thinking that I should have done this earlier. And maybe I should have. I wanted to push and get to a point though where I felt okay and not like I was going to regret stepping away for a moment. So far, this story has 125 chapters. That is my second longest (behind Shift) and we currently have 252,800 words. That is nuts! That’s more than Twilight and New Moon combined! Hahaha!

The next moment, darkness occupied me completely. To my readers: How time goes by. It has been around two months since I started to provide my writings to you. It just happened naturally and unknowingly. And the total amount of words is about to achieve 50 thousand. It is quite an exciting and important moment for new novel writers. For me, I couldn't write this novel smoothly without your strong support. I do appreciate that you all can accompany with me in this journey together. This has been a story that has been five years in the making. This went from a five page 2000 word document that I wrote with the help of a few friends the a well over 40,000 word novel. At this point, I don't have anymore of the story written out. This is due to a career change that takes up most of my time. I hope to continue writing this story and I'm even thinking of a possible sequel, however the process will be much slower than planned.

The word count equates to the coins so if a particular chapter costs a lot of coins , it's because the word count is quite high and it took a while to write it . Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.
