Word Count In A Novel Novels & Stories

Hello everyone so when I started writing the story, I wanted it to have as cute and as fluffy scenes as possible. Throughout the time, I have tried my best to do so. But, I can only know after you all inform me. This is going to be a light novel which means it is going to go on for at least 500 chapters and I am warning you all about it beforehand. There's a lot of mysteries which are going to come up and a lot of them which would be later on solved.

It was four thousand words, which was long by current standards and which the publication had allocated without apology because the editor had determined that four thousand words was what the story required.
