A loud, squeaky voice suddenly exclaims in my ear, “I hear you can see us!” I cry out, jerking to my feet and knocking over the cleaning solution. The bottle tips, spilling its contents across the table and onto a stack of books. “Crap! No. No. No!” I exclaim, frantically trying to rescue the books. The liquid seeps into their pages, darkening and warping the paper. My heart pounds as I dab fiercely at the growing blotches with the fabric. Dibella rushes over, concern etched across her face. “What happened?”

But this time… When it buzzed— I didn’t flinch. I picked it up. New number. Of course. I opened the message. You’re making this harder than it needs to be. Come back before they turn you into something you’re not. I stared at the screen. Then slowly… I typed back. My fingers didn’t shake this time. Too late. I hit send. And for the first time— I wasn’t afraid of what came next.

POV Liora The Ancient One did not sit. She moved around us instead, slow and unhurried, her bare feet making no sound against the stone. Her presence pressed in from all sides, like the air had thickened just for her. Mae sat stiff beside me, hands knotted in her lap. Rowan stayed near the door, shoulders tight, like a man braced for a strike he couldn’t dodge. “Tell me,” the Ancient One said calmly, “why mortals believe becoming a monster will save them.”

“He started doing those things to me in the dreams. He became the monster in the story.” I couldn't think of a single proper word to say. My throat felt bone-dry, and any words I could form felt too heavy, too inadequate to speak. My head struggled to process the horror of what I had just heard. Instead of trying to talk, I just pulled her to me, wrapping my arms around her and holding her tight. I kissed her hair again and again while she shook with quiet, heart-wrenching sobs against my chest. “You should stop writing that book,” I finally managed to say, my voice rough with emotion. “I’m worried it’s hurting you, making it all worse—”

I looked up and my stomach dropped. Aziel Nightbane. The monster himself. His golden eyes burned down at me with pure hate. Up close he smelled like blood and smoke and something darker that made my wolf stir. “Who are you running from boy?” he growled. His voice was low and rough like gravel under boots. His grip tightened on my arm hard enough to bruise. I gasped for air and forced words out even though my throat felt tight. “Please. I am nothing. Just a slave omega. Let me go and I will disappear. You will never see me again I swear it.”

For the first time, Raven hesitated. Small. Almost invisible. But I saw it. I leaned closer. "Be careful with assumptions, Raven. Sometimes, when you spend too long looking for monsters, you start seeing them everywhere." I walked away. When I returned to the café, Max was waiting outside. "Everything okay?" I looked at him. "Why do people keep asking me that?" "Because you keep looking like something's wrong." I smiled. "Maybe I just have that face." He didn't laugh. "Raven said something to you."

- Bobby while Papa is telling us what happen, JM still shaking in fear "Papa im scared!"- JM my brother is already crying so do I also but I'm not that crying hard like him "After I got outside, I've found those monsters chasing people and eating them alive, I try to help someone but the eaten person becomes one of them also!"- Bobby as Papa's telling us the story his face is so afraid and his eyes are in disarray, it was like he saw a glimpse from hell Papa hugs us deeply I can feel his trembling body, so I hug papa and little brother also

" How about we spend the whole day together tommorow ? I asked and he gasped . " Really ? Do you have lots of toys and games and foods and ...." He trailed. " Anything you want champ " I said with a chuckle . " Mummy please ....let me go with Mr Rick I promise to be a good boy ...I'd be back home so you don't worry about the monsters at night ..." He said and Anna and I frowned . Whilst Aria rubbed her forehead in frustration. " Monsters ? I asked " Yes mummy is scared of the dark and she cries a lot some nights even in her sleep" he blurted innocently

She shoved the notebook closer to my face. I looked at it again. This time I noticed that the whole picture was made up of tiny words. Just one word, actually, written over and over. Danger. And inside the monster's gaping mouth were four phrases: "Too many secrets So many lies Too many aliens So many goodbyes"
