The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

The Concordia, Twelve Hundred Years Before The bow of the ship was carved into the shape of a ferocious bare-breasted woman, her sharply pointed vampire teeth displayed by a savage snarl and her twisting hair blowing out around her in exquisite detail. “She is beautiful,” Sigrid exclaimed in awe looking up as their rowboat skirted the boat. “I did not see her… Or was it another ship?” She looked at the other ships anchored in the bay around them. Like ant-trails across the water, the rowboats transporting passengers and supplies wove through the waves to the other vessels.

This series is epic, a real nail biter! Yes, it is dark and touches on many uncomfortable issues, but there is redemption and forgiveness and healing. It shows that people can overcome their past and true change is possible with love and communication. I love the characters, especially the vampire.
Fox 2005
very dense story. highly recommended to start with book one, else you are missing too many information needed to understand the different timelines and points if view. yet these arches are more than necessary for the density. showing perspectives, helping the reader to understand the characters...

The Billionaire’s Secret Baby: With His Ex-Wife

The Billionaire’s Secret Baby: With His Ex-Wife

Emma whispered, “That’s bigger than the Leviathan carrier.” Sophia nodded slowly. “Yes.” Elizabeth looked at Lewis. “What kind of ship is that big?” Lewis thought for a moment. “Not a normal ship.” Victor added quietly, “The Covenant builds strange things.” Daniel crossed his arms. “Well, whatever it is, I hope it’s friendly.” Sophia shook her head. “It’s not.” Emma asked, “How do you know?” Sophia pointed at the radar movement. “It’s heading directly for this facility.”

Games of Invictus

Games of Invictus

"Good, I grow tired of waiting. If by dawn this Outsider has not arrived I intend to depart with the force we have. Mourndark is waiting. If we are late it will be on my head! I will not have it!" "Shall I give the order, Sir?" "If we are still on our own in three hours. We'll be under way soon enough." Barely had he spoken those words when his cabin was lit by a blinding flash. The bright flash lit up the void, filling the once empty space with a three kilometers worth of warship. The ships nearby were taken by surprise and scattered like leaves in the wind, taking defensive positions. "Jump 239 complete. Just under 2k drift. Right where we're supposed to be sir."

The Island

The Island

As they neared the end Mark caught sight of a boat in the water, unlike any he'd seen before. He could see it was a double-hulled Catamaran, but it wasn't a sailboat. It was like two speedboats welded together then given to Ferrari to turn into something fast and cool. A large cabin sat astride the two hulls with angled windows, topped by a small seating area upstairs, and the entire ship was coated in a kind of metallic charcoal colour. It looked fast, predatory and dangerous. "This is the Betsy," Captain Wales announced and Mark chuckled. "Something funny, lad?"

Marina The Siren

Marina The Siren

Marina then looked in the same direction and she also saw the silhouette on the water, making her confused. “Are they lost?” Marina asked, but Charlotte stayed silent. The pirate girl squinted her eyes trying to focus on the silhouette’s details, and after a few seconds she could identify some of them: the silhouette was a ship, apparently a merchant one, and on its deck, it seemed like there was the whole crew. Charlotte kept looking at the ship and she did not notice anything weird on it; nevertheless, when she spotted the flag waving on the mainmast, she immediately knew she and her friends were in terrible danger. “We have to go,” Charlotte said while turning around to get back to the sh

Emperor Shadow

Emperor Shadow

shaeshang
Even her cousins were so impressed. All ships except one who had to stay behind to clean up everything returned to the kingdom with the largest smile on their faces. Musa’s ship was left here to find the enemy corpses that were either floating or sinking into the ocean. All the green ships were large, comparable to the white ship. The white ship was Shadow’s personal ride and she just used it to oversee the fight in case something went awry. Although she should be cold and cruel to their enemies, Shadow couldn’t turn her head to the soldiers that were forced to clash with her and her people. There was someone’s family, someone’s son, someone’s daughter, someone’s partner, etc.

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

He looked up to see one of his Vanguard sergeants, a man named Kross, gritting his teeth as he pulled his Alpha into the safety of the hold. “Welcome aboard the Whale, sir,” Kross grunted, helping him to his feet. I ran to the bridge, where Silas and Winnie were hunched over the main console. The view through the reinforced glass was terrifying. The matte-black ship was following us, its violet beam still reaching out to snag our tail. “We can’t outrun it!” Silas shouted, his hand flying across the silver shards. “It’s faster, and it has a lock on our resonance signature!”

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

Emerald Eyed Luna: Grant's Revenge

Maverick said as he pointed to a big, black cargo ship. “Very subtle.” I observed. “Actually, it is. It brings supplies to another island behind ours. It makes an unscheduled stop randomly. We started walking down the hill, towards the boat. My eyes were surveying the area, looking for someone I knew. I had nothing. There were wolves everywhere but none that I recognized. As we got closer, I started paying attention to what was being loaded. Cages of monkeys, wooden crates that said “flammable” and “Fragile”. There were more animals off to the side in cages that I could hear. Sounded like a lion or cheetah.

Two worlds that collide

Two worlds that collide

Mario asked, excitement flickering across his face. "There is a second warehouse," Chloe said, her eyes narrowing. "It’s an old cold-storage facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, disguised as a defunct meat-packing plant. It’s registered under a shell company called 'Apex Logistics.' And here’s the kicker: the Sovereign isn't the only ship. There are two high-speed transport vessels—the Valkyrie and the Wraith—that are trailing forty miles behind the main ship. They move without transponders. They dock at a private pier three miles north of the main terminal, exactly one hour after the Sovereign hits the port."
