My Swimmer Stepbrother's Forbidden Claim

My Swimmer Stepbrother's Forbidden Claim

"Write an outline, maybe a sample chapter. I'd take that to publishers, start a bidding process. Once we have a deal, you'd have anywhere from six months to a year to write the full manuscript." "I've never written anything longer than a feature article," Riley said. "You'd have help. Most publishers assign an editor to work with first-time authors. And honestly, your voice is already strong. You just need to sustain it over three hundred pages instead of three." "What about privacy?" Samuel asked. "There are parts of our story that are personal. Parts I don't want everyone knowing."

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

Perer Ford: Diary of a Stranger

I paused, my contemplative eye searching back through memories of when I first wrote my first entry. "It has been a long fairly self-sufficient journey, Henry, and I wasn't sure I was going to last with this book considering my level of education, knowledge of words and sentence construction. To be honest, I have thought of throwing this book away and not completing it but I can't because it is my life's work. I find myself telling stories on days when I have nothing to write about and I am not sure if the stories I tell are amazing stories or just a piece of shit that people are going to struggle to read. But, my entire life's work lies in what I am writing. I know it doesn't sound decent f

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

Marked by the alpha, bound by fate

What the Book Became She wrote it over fourteen months — not the Tuesday practice of the personal record, but a daily practice, morning hours at the study desk before the council work began. The book had a different quality from everything she had written before because it was written from rest rather than from urgency. Not ease — rest. The specific quality of someone who was inside the thing they were describing and had enough distance from the urgency of building it to see its full shape. The book had twelve chapters. She had not planned twelve chapters — she had let the chapters arrive in the order they arrived and counted them when she was finished.

protocol for seduction

protocol for seduction

She was going to write that book. She had not told Julian yet that she had decided. She was still turning it over, feeling the shape of it. A book took years and commitment and the specific willingness to stay with something through all its difficult middle portions. She had done it once before — a long-form account of a housing scandal that had taken three years and cost her two relationships and one friendship and remained the work she was most proud of. This one would be different. More personal. More complicated. The story of how she had come to tell it was inseparable from the story itself.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

Thank you all so much for reading my story and sticking with me for the long haul. This book was over a year and a half in the making and all the support and comments have truly been inspiring. I appreciate you all more than you know. I am a new writer and learning as I go and you have all shown kindness and patience when the learning curve was steep. And there were plenty of dips! You all kept me on track and motivated to get up and write every single day.

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

1001 Dark Tales

1001 Dark Tales

A pair of arms wrapped around me, and I instantly settled into the familiar embrace as both of us watched the sun set over our kingdom. I couldn’t help the squeal of delight that escaped my mouth. I had finally completed my book, 1001 Dark Tales. The look on my editor’s face was one of disbelief when I announced I was stopping all other books to focus solely on that one. I guess writing 1001 Dark Tales takes a long time, four years to be exact. Still, I had written enough books with the help of my quill that I had more than a steady income.

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

The Billionaire’s Regret Clause; One Year Together. One Love

Ernest was making the evening bread — the established bread, the bread that had been made in this kitchen for seventeen years, the bread that was the ordinary container for the ordinary day. Don stood at the counter. He watched Ernest knead. He said: "The book will take a year." Ernest said: "Yes." "A year of this," Don said. "The writing and the reviewing and the co-writing." "Yes," Ernest said. Don held his gaze. He said: "I have never written a book this way before." Ernest said: "You have never had the material for a book this way before."

Blinded Dreams

Blinded Dreams

To my dear readers, I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to you, even though there may not be many of you. Your support, no matter how small, has meant everything to me. When I first set out to write "Blinded Dreams," my goal was to craft a unique storyline that would resonate with those who read it. It has taken me 1.5 years to finally complete this book, and I’m overwhelmed with joy to be able to say that it is now finished.

IN THE LIGHT OF FORTUNE

IN THE LIGHT OF FORTUNE

"How do I find time to write with everything else?" "Same way you find time for everything - you make it a priority and build structure around it." Jennifer pulled out her phone. "What if you blocked off early mornings? Before the twins wake up, before work demands start. Even just an hour a day would be seven hours a week. You could write a book in a year at that pace." The idea of waking up even earlier made Claire want to cry - she was already exhausted. But she also knew Jennifer was right. If she waited for the perfect time, the book would never get written.
