Write A Book In A Year Novels & Stories

But I promise you, I spend every second of my free time writing as much as I can because I love this story just as much as you do. The more I write, the more I realise just how massive this book is going to be. It’s easily going to be my longest one yet… and believe it or not, we’re not even halfway there. There’s still so much to unfold, so many layers to explore, and I’m trying my best to keep the pace fast without leaving plot holes behind. So I hope you’ll stick with me for the long haul — we’re going to be on this journey together for a while!

The good, the bad, and the ugly. I try to maintain continuity within the story and characters, which is quite a task considering I have elements spanning over almost twenty years, but if you catch anything that seems off (including other, basic mistakes), please let me know! My goal is to deliver a slow-burning, intriguing story with faster-paced action and subplots, hopefully, I'm able to do that! This is also my first published book, so thanks again as I navigate this learning curve!

During my 3rd year I started writing my book.. my real life story.. about the shit my father put me through. That one was hard to title. Hence I was still writing it even today under the title UNTITLED

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I was hoping to finish this book before the New Year, but then I got pretty sick and have been fighting off this sickness ever since. The good news is that through all the sleeping I've been doing, I had a dream that gave me inspiration for a new werewolf novel, so hopefully in the New Year I'll be finishing this book while writing that one! I'm starting to feel better, finally, so I plan on getting a few chapters out between Christmas and the New Year. Now that you know what an inciting incident is, the third rule helps a lot on how to choose the best inciting incident for your story: Let me repeat it again: 3 this incident upset the balance within the character's world. I understand that you want to set their emotion of longing for a change before you present the change, but this voids your chapter one, and gives your story a slow pace.

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Alternatively, the other idea I had was to just have a longer book, but I don't want the length to scare off new readers. Thanks in advance! :)
