It's as if his novels are his veiled journals of his crimes. Most serial killer leaves a mark in every crime scene. Like a calling card telling the police and the people that it's them who did the crime. Some uses a specific weapon, others set the crime scene like a staged portrayal of something, and there are some serial killers who loves to kill in one place, or they have a certain victim profile.
