Each corner I turned revealed more and more lifeless bodies, my heart breaking with every sight. The hallways felt suffocating, as though every step I took was leading me deeper into a twisted nightmare.

She had wanted to write a Fantasy novel to break away from her writer's block or rather the huge boredom she had developed from writing too much romance. Well maybe the strange creature lurking in her dreams may have also inspired he rash decision but was she going to tell Ray? No. She was going to write Fantasy gor sure. Maybe about a Werewolf? She wasn't sure but it was time to do her research.

But when I knocked on her door, there was no answer. “Novel?” I called out her name, but silence met me. Panic settled deep in my chest. Luckily, the door was unlocked. When I entered, the room was empty, and my heart hammered against my ribs, until I heard the water running in the bathroom. When I stepped inside, my breath caught in my throat. It was Novel. She looked lifeless, submerged beneath the water. Fear gripped me as I hauled her out. “Novel!” I barked. She opened her eyes, but they looked hollow, lifeless.

“Yes, Ana. You screwed up everything! Now, you will come back to your dull, meaningless life, like nothing happened. Besides, being around him gave her so many story ideas and she was itching to get them down. Lisa had never had a muse before; her stories had always come from within her. It was scary to think that the horrors she wrote about had been buried somewhere in her subconscious and she often wondered whether it made her a monster. What kind of sick person did she have to be to think up these things? But over the years she’d come to realize that getting the horrors out of her mind was what kept her sane.

I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds. The title 'Desire for thirst' was inspired from my personal experience of writing this series. The main character in Desire for thirst is the werewolf which murdered my mom. For every novel, I make some particular things to specify from each book like the manner of killing. Likewise, the manner I used in Desire for thirst is man in Balck clothing slashing his victims throat after cutting out their tongue. i got shocked after seeing the similar manner of killing in the news. Three nights, she thought. Three nights until full. She pressed her palms to her eyes, willing her mind back to the safety of science, of logic. Now, a new, much more immediate horror struck, chilling her to the bone as the sun sank below the horizon, illuminating the vast Romano estate with long, skeletal shadows. With a junior capo's face pale and his eyes wide with unimaginable fear, the news came in a desperate, breathless whisper. He had staggered into the main hall, which is typically a haven of formal poise, but now there was an abrupt, unnerving silence. A scene of silent terror was now illuminated by the opulent chandeliers that were used to casting gentle light on formal events. The weight of the looming horror seemed to make the air itself thicken.

I wanted to capture that moment when fear creeps in, when power shifts, and when the impossible becomes real the Moon Goddess possessing a human, and Erebus reclaiming a body after centuries. Writing Kael’s panic and Erebus’s quiet, terrifying awakening made me feel every heartbeat and shadow right alongside them. I hope you could feel the suspense tightening around the characters as much as I imagined it.
