Pride and Promises

Pride and Promises

"Oh, please! I'm nothing like those sickly annoying clichés the teenagers fawn about. Tell me one thing that's cliché about me, I dare you." I smirked at him. "Hmm... let's see." I thought for a while and made a show of counting my fingers as I started listing out. "For one, you're that clichéd youngest billionaire, the most eligible bachelor." I made finger quotation gesture at that. "And oh, how can I forget the arrogant, rude, ruthless, cold, stone-hearted, cru-"

A Tale Between S and W: Not your usual giddy love story

A Tale Between S and W: Not your usual giddy love story

You should have been nominated for Oscars. From now on, I will disappear from your sight, you jerk. Let us see if you will really die. I will kill you with my own hands if you won’t. I wish you will get impotent for doing this to me. Having babies that will eventually grow up like you will not be good for the human race. What was that cliché line again? I always hear it from people nowadays. They are correct. Ignorance is bliss. I think this line was invented by a person who got hurt when he knew something that cannot be knew if you are not smart. I wish I am not smart.

Regretting Divorce

Regretting Divorce

Maybe, I should give her movie tickets and ask her out! 'Dude! I get it that she asked for cliché, but did she also ask for zero creativity? Chocolates, flowers, movie tickets... Really? Who gave you the title of youngest but wealthiest man in the country, huh? You seem to have very little brain. Try something new!' A tiny voice in my head mocked me and I squeezed my eyes in embarrassment. That's right. Being cliché doesn't mean it has to be basic. I need to think... Think out of the box!

Author says they’re not dragging the story…but he/she is. The whole Claire and Tyler marriage thing was unnecessary. I tried to give it some time and come back to see if it’s complete and it’s still going. I guess the story isn’t for me to finish…

This book is awesome, I am actually in love with the characters. I hope we will get the rest of the side characters stories soon and in some parts of Claire and Hunter's future too. Fingers crossed ..., still waiting ...!!

One Night Stand with My Brother's Best Friend

One Night Stand with My Brother's Best Friend

I sighed softly, "I'm not used to... a presence that's not half-hearted." "Good," he replied quickly, but his voice remained soft. "Because I never intended to come half-heartedly." I chuckled. "That sounds cliché." “Clichés are sometimes the most honest,” he shrugged slightly. “And if you must know… I like clichés, if they mean I can sit here, with you, doing nothing, and still feel content.”

Cycle of Cliches

Cycle of Cliches

Blessings, on the other hand, come with an expiry date; if you can’t perspire and get what you want within the expiry period, or else blessings too, turn into clichés… …well, see, how philosophical I’ve become as I tell you about the first triple ride on our brand-new bike in a chilly winter morning up on a hilltop temple. That’s what clichés do. They make a philosopher of you when you don’t really want to be one. The temple wasn’t open for morning rituals yet and so our idea of sitting inside the hall and warm ourselves up for a while was of no use. We went to the backyard from where we could have a view of the city. All we could see was a thick layer of white mist shrouding everything in f

Alpha Bane's Rejection

Alpha Bane's Rejection

“Mooove it along, bitch!” “Seems originality is dead.” I groan, exasperated, with this repetitive conversation. “Seriously, it’s been two years of the same shitty insults. Come up with better material.” “What we lack in creativity,” Claudia’s minion says, flipping her hair over her shoulder. “We make up in effectiveness.”

6 chapters in, and I am completely hooked. From the first paragraph, I wanted more. It takes a truly talented author to have readers wrapped in up in a story before you truly know the characters. I can't wait to see where this story leads and hope for a HEA for Peyton and Bane.
Amy
Emma you are an extremely talented writer! Emma you are an extremely talented writer! You make it feel like you know each and every character personally. I was hooked on The Silver Run Series. The first two book were absolutely amazing. As is the third, and this new book series so far.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

"Didn't you ask me to tell you about it?" Daniel broke into a cold sweat. Of all the books she could be reading, she had to pick this one. If one drew a parallel, wouldn't he be the heartless male lead? What if she read on and remembered something from the past... By now, Daniel was sweating all over. "Anyway... romance novels use clichés. They’re all about endless love and stuff. They’re not very meaningful," he said with a forced smile. "You don't plan on writing one too, do you?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Sharon
I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

"Formulaic emotional responses that hit familiar beats without genuine feeling behind them. Your characters fall in love because the plot requires it, not because they're genuinely compelled by each other in ways that surprise them." Jake opened another manuscript her previous novel, *Dangerous Devotion* to a section covered in red marks. "This scene where your hero declares his feelings. He says, 'You make me want to be a better man.' Do you know how many romance heroes have said exactly those words? It's a cliché that signals emotional depth without actually providing any." Emma stared at the marked-up pages, seeing her carefully crafted scenes through Jake's unforgiving analytical lens. "

Begging on Their Knees My Alpha Wants Me Back

Begging on Their Knees My Alpha Wants Me Back

“What’s wrong with you two? One spacing out, the other crying like crazy?” Yvonne sniffled. “Waaah, the female lead died of cancer! Why do novels always go with car accidents, cancer, and long-lost siblings?! So annoying!” Goselle comforted her. “It’s cliché, but at least it’s better than mine. Mine’s so boring.” Then she turned to me. “What about you? You’ve been reading forever and you’re still on page two?” I closed the book. “Mine’s not good either.”
