From A Pariah To A Beloved

From A Pariah To A Beloved

"Aliana, what's this?" "This is a workbook." "Oh. Can I take a look at this?" Aliana nodded and handed the workbook over. "Wow..." Leia didn't know what this was, but she liked it. This exercise book was different from what her father had bought her. "Aliana, I like this so much! Can you give it to me?" "Leia, I can give you anything else but this one. I need it to finish my homework..." Aliana stepped forward in a quandary, wanting to take away the workbook from Leia's hand.

Brian Kings and His Substitute Bride

Brian Kings and His Substitute Bride

I decide as I get down to arranging my abomination of table. I sort out the files on my table very fast by bookmarking it from the most important and the least important because I am don’t thinking I am a super woman that can crash everything at once, so let’s see how going bay a steady pace work for me. I put on my desktop and open up Microsoft excel where the new schedule that I started working on for Brian since I officially resumed work is, and I start to look through the materials one by one so that I won’t look clueless and useless when I attend the meeting with Brian.

Don't Touch

Don't Touch

I kind of hesitated as I looked at the books and reached out to grab one of them. "Have you ever bothered reading these books?" he asked me. "No, not really. I don't want to read books that remind me of how sick I am." I tell him. "But they can be very educational. Like this one, it's a workbook with exercises and some meditation techniques," he said as he pulled out a book and handed it to me. I looked at the cover before handing it back. "No," I answered shortly.

The Vampire and the Mage

The Vampire and the Mage

It was as if something blocked my throat and I couldn't answer. Damn him. "Where do we start?" he asked after a while. He took out a workbook and started flipping through it. I kept looking at what he was doing, thinking of what could be done to get him to leave work. "Of course at the very first. I didn't understand all of that. I also didn't understand anything in the other workbooks either." I said. Half of it was a lie, though. I understand something somehow, it's just that I'm weak in solving problems.

Siren in the Wind - book one of the MIT2 series

Siren in the Wind - book one of the MIT2 series

“Mr. Jacobs, I’m not sure how this involves me.” “I’m not creative and I’m also technically challenged. Usually, one of the interns creates the PowerPoints for me, but I’m on my own with this.” His voice dropped to a harsh whisper. “I’m starting my own company, and I’ll need new materials. I need them done quickly. Everything from letterheads to business cards to presentations and of course, a logo. Could we start with a workbook?” “What do you have in mind?” Wayne Jacobs suddenly reached into his pocket. With one deft move, Max dragged Abby’s chair back—with her in it—and stepped in between, his hand gripping the gun tucked into the small of his back.

This is a good novel. I love the synopsis and the start. It is thrilling in its own way. Good dialogues and grammatical structure author. This book is a keeper n it is quite lovely. I look forward to seeing Valerie and Enzo rise and conquer the underworld and enact their revenge. Good work author.

Frequently Asked Questions

Screenwriting books! 'The Anatomy of Story' by John Truby or Robert McKee's 'Story' have sentence-level implications. Truby's 'designing principle' forces you to condense your story's essence into one sentence, then every scene sentence should reflect it. It’s a high-level drill in consistency and thematic weight for every line. While not grammar, it’s intensely practical for making each sentence pull its narrative weight. It changed how I view every descriptive or dialogue sentence in my prose.
