Refused to Split Dinner

Refused to Split Dinner

"Aaron! I regret it! I really regret it! I regret not stopping my mom from asking you to pay for Christmas Eve dinner. I regret not stopping her when she stole the property deed. I regret not standing up for you when you needed me most! I regret not treating you well after marrying you, and I regret making you suffer so much!" Her voice was heart-wrenching and filled with endless regret, but I did not turn back. Some mistakes can never be undone. I closed the door, shutting out this unbearable past. Later, I heard that Winona had a difficult time. She could not hold her head up at work because of this incident. Her colleagues gossiped about her behind her back, calling her a mama's girl and

I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

I Moan for My Ex’s Uncle

I wanted to go back and get her out as I had promised. I deserved this. I deserved worse than this. When Winny saw the blood and also saw that I wasn’t moving, she lifted my face. Tears fell from my eyes as my gaze met hers. Then she realised this was real. “Are you…?” Her angry face came down to a subtle cry of regret. “I didn’t mean to…” she said and tried to find something to stop the blood. “Why isn’t it healing?” Her words turned to sobs, which drew tears from her eyes.

Mysterious Husband: Pampering Wife

Mysterious Husband: Pampering Wife

If Jackson had not noticed that something was wrong, there was no telling how the whole situation would have turned out. Yvonne had a staunch character. If she had really been r*ped, she would not be able to continue living. Jared felt his heart ache and his anger rose, but even more so, he was really sad. It was all because of him. If he did not marry Susan, Yvonne would not have run away from home and she also would not have been kicked out by the Miller family. When Jared thought about that, his heart was filled with regret and self-blame.

The Christmas He Lost Her

The Christmas He Lost Her

On the third night, she drove a knife into my chest. The same knife I'd used earlier to cut fruit for her. My vision blurred. Her face twisted above me. "You murderer. Go to hell!" Then Wynne appeared in my mind. Her college self. Standing in the snow. She smiled softly, holding an umbrella over me. "Hey. Let's go together." Relief curled at my lips. Wynne... I regret it. Next life, I'll treat you right.

The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye

Maybe he was even hiding something big. A dark hunch crept into Wynnie's thoughts, and the warmth in her eyes cooled when she looked at Jeff. What if Jeff had never died? What had he been doing all those years? Her heart pounding, Wynnie bolted from the villa, searching for that once-familiar silhouette. The sky, as if on cue, began to weep fine snowflakes, mourning the absurdity of their tale. "Wynnie, I shouldn't have said that. It's starting to snow. Let's head back and talk to my parents about setting up another marriage deal," Jeff said, his smile trying to bridge the gap as he reached for her shoulder.

His Regret

His Regret

“ I thought that I would let you be and keep to myself but I realise now that it was a mistake. I should have confronted you about the welcome party you threw for her when you said you were going to attend a gala. I was an idiot for believing whatever you say. In a sense, this is my fault. I didn't even mention that I wasn't feeling well and I missed my parents. In case you forgot, my parents died. They have been gone for a long time and this is where they are buried. That is why I came here to visit them. I'm not some crazy stalker like you think but yeah, you can think whatever. I don't care anymore. You can continue taking care of Anna. She matters more to you than I do.” I lost my compos

Regretting What She Got

Regretting What She Got

Zachary broke down as he rushed over, wailing, "That's my daughter. Griselda has been living like a beggar for her whole life. She didn't even get the chance to call me Dad. She was only eighteen and died such a gruesome death…" While everyone still focused on him, he punched himself in a show of guilt. "It was all my fault. I failed to recognize you and caused you to suffer for more than a decade. I'll accompany you in your death right now!" A few people surged forward quickly to stop him. Zachary cried till his knees went weak. He only managed to stand up after two burly men helped him up. My calmness made me look downright evil in the face of his devastation. "Daisy is heartless. She didn

Regret After Divorce

Regret After Divorce

“I’ve been thinking. We should talk this through—properly.” His face tightened, expression unreadable behind that handsome exterior. **** Everett’s POV: I had just heard everything from Wyatt Robert about Amelia’s manipulative games. Disgusted was one word for it. But more than that, I felt regret—deep, gnawing regret. I hated that I jumped to conclusions. Never asked questions. Just let the rumors run wild and let her suffer in silence. “Scarlett, I’m sorry. You really went through hell because of me.”

Three Years Later, They Finally Regretted It

Three Years Later, They Finally Regretted It

"Why did you push Sophia!" "She told me to." "You're lying!" Sophia sobbed. Jack knelt down and helped Sophia up, as gently as if she were made of porcelain. He looked at me with nothing but disappointment. "You haven't changed at all. You acted so well for three years, but the second we turn around, you're the same as always. A leopard doesn't change its spots." Mom's eyes reddened. "We were just saying we should be nicer to you. I was regretting sending you to that place. And this is how you repay us?"

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ex-husband’s Regret

Ryan regretted, "I just wanted to comfort her quickly and then go see Grandpa." "It doesn't matter." I didn't want to say anything harsh anymore, just said, "You shouldn't apologize to me either. It's not me you've wronged." He was silent behind me for a moment. "I've let down both you and Grandpa." A pang of bitterness rose in my heart. I pushed away his actions and lay flat on my back, staring at the ceiling. "Ryan, you will lose more because of her sooner or later." The "her" didn't need to be named. We understood each other's hearts.

What happens to Ryan now? Will he just be cast aside? I believe there must also be a backstory about Ryan and Charlotte, on Ryan's side of the story, I just lost interest now when Charlotte already started a relationship with Frank while not hearing out Ryan side of the story. It's sad.

the book was amazing at the first but there are too many characters and chapters so it's getting boring but if u end the book with Charlotte and Ryan patching up again then it would turn amazing and there are two many parts just end it asap ...but still great hard work ...️
