Chapter 6 Xavier's P.O.V The warriors of Liam's pack all transformed into werewolves as they charged toward me, trying to protect their master before I could attack him. The sound of bones cracking filled the air and their howls and growls filled the room as they encircled me with Liam standing behind them still in his human form, his upper lip curled over his sharp incisors. "Enjoy the show, Xavier"

It was not a normal thing for werewolves to get burials with the exception of the alpha and Luna, but a lot of brave warriors that contributed wholly to the pack were gone. On the night of the attack, while Ash was tucked away in Violet's arms, Xavier had entered her room. She felt his strong aura and peeked through her lashes to see him staring at her from the door in the dark. She remembered how emotionless his face was after thinking how he would become angry with her. Also the way his eyes stared pointedly at her, and even though hers was barely open, they both knew they were aware of each other.

I was still so angry at my wolf for taking control of my body in the fight again I was tempted not to pick anyone just to spite him. Xavier’s hand slid inside his silver-trimmed robe, clearly touching himself, “Fucking hurry this shit up!” “Why the fuck we having to take turns anyway,” one of the new faces grumbled. The blue-eyed girl’s mouth dropped open in shock and her eyes flitted towards the other men in horror. Xavier hated to be stared at with his disfigured face. “You, blondie, give me those eyes again and I’ll fuck them clean out of your skull,” his voice dripping with cool venom, then started openly stroking his shaft in front of the group. “Are you ready for this?”

He forcefully pulled his body away, seeking for an escape as the building was set ablaze. Other werewolves ran along with him as the fire waved angrily into the woods. “Run towards the spring,” Xavier commanded in his mindlink. He felt stronger and in control of the others. “You've gotten his power!“ His wolf congratulated as they halted at the brink of the river. Xavier fell exhausted, as he transformed into his human form, watching as the wreckage continued. The thick smoke went into the moon-lit clouds as one surrendered his clothes for him. Xavier wore it, watching in amazement how they all stood before him, and bowed in submission—they have found another stronger leader. He soon realize

"Do you wanna go out?" She muttered faintly. So faintly that he'd have mistaken it for a rush of wind if he was human. "What?" Xavier blurted out in disbelief, tightening his hold onto the bridge railing. Aster scoffed, "You have super hearing and for what?" "Sorry, I was just taken aback." Xav shyly averted his gaze and stared at the ground, unable to look her in the eye. "Are you serious?" She sighed, "You know how much I hate putting myself in this kinda situation so hell yeah, I'm serious."

But it was a futile attempt to escape the huge Lycan since Lycans were far faster than werewolves. Without warning, Xavier morphed into his imposing half-man, half-wolf form. With a powerful lunge, he tackled the man to the ground. The receptionist’s cry of terror was muffled as his face was pushed into the wet, mossy earth. Xavier held him firmly down; his voice was a menacing whisper. "Tell me where they took her," he demanded with barely contained fury.

With a smile adorning my face, I waited, filled with anticipation. An hour had passed, yet I couldn't catch a glimpse of her. Restlessness crept within me, and my wolf grew increasingly agitated. What was this feeling? Suddenly, a piercing scream echoed through the air, "Xavy, please save me!" My blood ran cold upon hearing the voice of my mate. In a panic, my beta burst into the room, informing me urgently, "Alpha, there is news. One of the men sent with Luna has reported that they were attacked by vampires on their way back to the pack."

Victor teased. “Would not!” Hunter retorted with indignation. “If you were even allowed to watch it.” “Like you are! I bet you snuck it in!” “Alright, alright, enough,” Chris intervened, mildly amused how far the conversation had shifted. He pulled the pair back down, avoiding the inevitable fight that would happen over him if he didn’t. “We can watch Wolverine, just don’t tell your parents.” “Yay!” they both cried. Chris shifted to his film collection, frowning seeing the film gone. “Victor… who did you get Wolverine from?”

"I have never seen so many Alphas in one place and not at each other's throats," Kurt interjected. "Oh, we were at each other's throats. Xavier is just stronger…" Wulfrun said. Angel chuckled when Xavier groaned. Wulfrun like the rest of the Weres with Xavier was tall and muscular. His laughter sounded rusty like someone who wasn’t used to the act, and his blue eyes gleamed with jest. He also had tattoos at the base of his neck which showed on his exposed sleeves. Angel guessed he must be fully inked or perhaps just his upper body.

"I am scared, because I can feel how ruthless he can be. The first time I saw him, I could feel how the ground beneath his feet paid him respect, the trees, nature bowed before him Xavier" "He is ruthless Xavier, all rogues are. And I don't want you or the Pack to get hurt because of me", she wiped her tears as she created a distance between them. A minute hadn't even passed when the door to Xavier's office opened, his chosen mate practically running to his side, engulfing him in a hug. "Hey Laureffany, I didn't see you there, oh my gosh, you look a mess", she smirked. "It's Laureffaine Luna, and thanks for reminding me how horrible I look", she corrected and thanked the Luna sarcastically.
