She was so lost in the book when her phone started ringing. Angela picked up the phone without seeing the id. "Hello," Angela said. "How are you okay?" Came a husk voice from another side. "Who are you?" Angela asked him. "Xavier" Xavier said from another side. "Which Xavier?" Angela asked. She was so lost in the book that she forgot that it was her husband's name.

I don’t feel anything towards her except pure undiluted rage and hatred. I turn around to leave ignoring Ethan. I see we have attracted a small group but I don’t care. Among the people who are there are Xander, Asher and Adrian. While Xander and Asher’s looks portray disappointment as if I did something wrong Adrian’s portrays something else. Something I don’t have time nor the energy to interpret. I move past them, ignoring them and just leave without saying a word.

“Meaning you want me to ‘meddle’ in your relationship.” Irritation coursed through me sharply.
