Strong-willed. These were some of the adjectives. There was a quote written at the bottom in cursive under inverted commas. “She's alone, but stronger and better than a whole army.” Vera's lips curved up and a deep sense of warmth exploded in her chest. The quote was easy on the eyes but very jarring. And it came from 12 years old girls.
