Then, he asked, “Tyr, I can almost be certain that your mother still remembers you. She’s still the same, you know. She wasn’t fully brainwashed by Ulricus.” Tyr was stunned for a few seconds before a trace of joy flashed through his heart. He asked, “Are you sure?” “Yup..” Xavion nodded heavily. “I’m positive. Tyr, the magic book is about to be born. I’m going to find out where the book will be born. You should wait for me here.” With that, Xavion’s body started burning with flames once more, but this time the flames had transformed into a phoenix. He leaped and jumped on the back of the Phoenix.

Xander says grinning at me. “Wait. What?... and you didn’t tell me?” He just laughs, “Who knew you were such a gossip.” I stick my tongue out at him and he leans forward to kiss me. We linger for a while before we get out of the car. Before our feet even touch the ground, someone opens the main door and Zola and Stella come bounding out the house at full speed. “My babies!” I grin delighted to see them. The puppies whimper and sniff me as if sensing that something was not right before licking my face.

She realized Xavier saw her in a way no one else ever did. Ten minutes passed. The babies were still active, making Liora sigh in frustration. Xavier reached for a small book on the nightstand. Its cover was blue, illustrated with the moon and stars. “What’s that?” Liora asked. “A storybook. Isabelle left it yesterday.” Xavier opened a page. “Maybe my boring voice will calm them down.” Liora stifled a laugh. “Even I might fall asleep first listening to that.” Xavier began to read in a low, steady voice. Not theatrical, but flat and soothing, like the flow of a river at night. Liora closed her eyes, listening. From time to time, she felt the babies move less, then stir again, then settle.

I used a small bit of magic to summon one of my books, my mates hissing at me as it caused my Heat to flare and I groaned, grabbing my stomach as it crackled painfully. Xavier's eyes flashed with anger, "Tiny." I leaned against Theo, settling my breathing and opened the book. "It was in my altar room. You know you can't go in there." Gabriel cleared his throat. "Ouch, darling. I'm right here." I gave him a scowl. "Shut up." He smirked but let me read for a few moments. "What is that book?" Xavier asked, ducking to try and see the nameless cover.

Someone that was staring at her. ‘Oh crap.’ “Sorry,” She mouthed and he shrugged. They started again by reading the first chapter together. Xeelany listened attentively to each word as she slowly progressed through each sentence. She tried to concentrate on every single syllable as she felt as if her mind was being filled with water from all those words flowing over each other in a never ending flow. “You should really try harder at understanding these,” Xavier chuckled as he put a bookmark in the book they were currently reading and closed it. “You’ve barely gotten through a fourth chapter now.”

It's like a painful way life helps me reuse and recycle my sadness, if you know what I mean. Gabrielle struts in sassily in her usual bossy manner and she is quickly joined by those snakes she calls her friends, Mia, Alicia and Tracy. The four of them together are the reason I hate school. Four psychopathic children roaming around a supposedly sane environment and they claim school is safe place. Liars! "Hey looser, can you move to the other side? I don't want people staring at us at the same time. It's disgraceful!" Elle taunts and as usual her dumb friends laugh like she'd just said the world's funniest joke. Crazy dimwits.
