she thought to herself. “Is there a problem? You just zoned out,” Anastasia said. “No, nothing. I think we need to go to Maryland. Xander might still be there,” Khloe said firmly. “Are you sure of this?” Anastasia asked. “Yes I am. If my calculations are correct, Xander is still in Maryland. So we're going to Maryland.”

I knew that he was close to use teleportation if he chose to use it and if his energy was high enough. I still had so many questions in my mind. This was definitely wrong timing since I am supposed to meet Healer Caayyas in about thirty dots. I wasn’t sure when I’d get the chance to talk to her again after this raid on the Furezos. And I was itching to know what truly caused my mother’s death and what Miryeob’s connection was with it. After some dots, we were already at the border of the Furez and Indi lands, having done climbing up and down a couple of hills and crossing a waterfall and another couple of hills.

“And the base?” “We found a good place for that.” Harris said. His tone sharpened slightly with purpose. “It’s not close to any single clan, but it’s almost dead center in relation to all of them. Elevated ridge, mostly shielded by natural barriers. If we install a delivery system for Kyrexin-X there, the wind currents and terrain will carry it far. Reach every clan.” That got Justine’s full attention. He sat up a little straighter. “That’s good,” he said. “Smart positioning. So then… what went wrong?”

But miraculously, Angel got a call from Simpson, saying that he had found the location where Xander was. "Are you sure it's him?" "Isn't the black Jaguar with a very shiny exterior enough to identify Xander's whereabouts?" "You are right. Where is he now?" “Somewhere outside of town after you drive west for three hours on the interstate. He was staying at the Holliday Inn next to the bar.” "Bar? That's typical of Xander. I don't doubt you anymore now. Send me the coordinates. I'll go there now." "Okay. Be careful."

"Then what do we do?" "We steal the technology. Break into wherever X stores his quantum equipment. Take what we need to save Grace." "We do not know where that is—" "We do now." Victoria burst in with a laptop. "X made a mistake during his last message. The quantum-reactive paint he used to communicate? I analyzed residue. Traced the quantum signature back to its source. X's real facility. His actual headquarters. Not a decoy this time. The real location." "Where?" "Nevada. Blackridge actually. Under the old hospital that burned down fifteen years ago. There is a massive underground facility built during Project Blackstone. X has been operating from there the entire time. Literally under ou

James shook his head. “Not officially.” Lucas stared at him. “Unofficially?” James looked at Xavier. “That's where things become complicated.” Xavier opened another file. “Give me the coordinates.” James did. Xavier entered them. A map appeared. Lucas stared at the location. It was approximately forty kilometers outside Hilton City. Surrounded by forest. No major roads. No registered buildings. Lucas's eyes narrowed. “What did my grandfather call it?” James looked at him. “Safe Haven.”

ZARA Standing in the parking lot, Xavier opened the door to his blue Mercedes, I took in a deep breath and sat inside, he immediately turned around and sat in as well. He didn’t waste any time in igniting the car and driving into the busy city of New York, I turned to stare at him for a second, and our eyes locked for a moment, I immediately looked away and brought my phone out of my pocket, I was feeling sleepy and I didn’t know what to say at the moment. He kept on driving and then suddenly paused in the middle of nowhere, he turned to me calmly and sat and took a deep breath, I knew I was in for a talk.

King Sebastian I leave the clinic only when Irina is deep under again. Shawn meets me in the parking lot with a tablet and a grim expression. The air outside is cool and damp. It does nothing to cool the rage still burning under my skin. “Three more locations linked to Xander’s group,” Shawn says without greeting. “Two safe houses and a warehouse on the industrial side. Heat signatures show movement at all of them. They know she is gone. They are scrambling.” “Take the warehouse first. Leave the safe houses for last. I want them to feel the net closing.”

Mine, however, is only growing worse. “I’ll be outside the gates in five minutes in a black SUV, Pennsylvania plates, WEG 1185.” He ends the phone call, putting it back in the spot. Neither of us talks, settling into the silence, and enjoying the scenery. Blue Ridge is nestled between Buffalo and Rochester New York. It’s not big, from what I understand. I don’t know a lot about the pack or alpha, but that’s probably a good thing. Xander and I only hear about the problematic ones.

She said with a sultry tone and even wink at him. Anastasia doesn't know if she's going to get jealous because of that– or not because basically, its not really her husband's body. "Wait I'll search that." Another guy on the blonde haired guy's team volunteered and opened his laptop. Then he typed something on it. "34, 14, 32, point 8 west. 110, 45, 32 point 5 south." He mumbles. "Okay I got it. Its in Venura and if I zoom it in... its on a building– but it looks like a normal building tho?" He asked Xander.
