Rachael's POV Slowly, I opened my eyes.... Stars, I saw stars... really familiar ones. It wasn't just the stars that got my attention, but the dream catcher hanging above my head. This is my dream catcher, my mum brought it for me when I was five. I had a really bad dream, and she brought it to calm me down. This can't be real, right? Because, if it is real... then it means, I'm laying down on my bed, inside my room, that is in my parent's palace back at the Red Moon Pack.

She'd had trouble finding the fresh sheets because this was a first time for her in his room like this and he wasn't even available to be asked. It had taken going through drawers to find the right one. And something had caught her eyes in that search. It was an average sized dream catcher. A worn, purple ring, with small squares from intersecting lines covering its face with traditional designs hanging from it. It wasn't his possession of something like this that niggled her mind, though that should count because he didn't look like the kind of man to own something like this. But there was something else. She'd had something exactly like this when she'd been younger.

James looked at Maxine in shock. Maxine explained, “The moon in the painting refers to yin, which can be understood as Yin Energy or Cold Energy. The sun refers to yang, also known as Yang Energy. Yin and Yang have to be combined. This is the same for the meridian diagram. Not only does it require a woman and man to cultivate together, but it also has to be a woman that uses True Yin Energy and a man that uses True Yang Energy. Yin and Yang Energy will balance and complement each other.” The more she talked, the more excited she became.

Wisnu handed me a brown wooden box with beautiful carvings. "What's this?" The circulating fluid light in the central hole of the dreamcatcher turned into ripples of light and in the next second, Kyros and Verena were thrown out of the dreamcatcher. Both of them groaned on the floor, covered in tattered clothes, filth all over their bodies.

I didn't want him to wonder about my behavior or realize that I'm frustrated with things like this. "It's nothing. I'm just annoyed because I couldn't find the old woman who sells dream catchers," I made an excuse, but deep down, I was really disappointed and couldn't find the old woman at the grocery store. "Why do you need that? Let me buy you another keychain instead. What do you want?" he asked, and I shook my head. No other item can replace that keychain. I feel safe when that item is close to me. Ever since I started carrying that dream catcher, my headaches have become less frequent, and I don't feel heavy or accumulated bruises on my body anymore.

As I looked down at the necklace, I smiled happily. The pendant had the yin symbol, while I knew instinctively that my lover had the other part, the yang symbol. The symbolism wasn't lost on me. Yin and yang, the harmony of opposites, the balance of the universe. It felt... right. I gazed at the necklace, feeling a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. But then, I woke up, panting and disoriented. I sat up in my cell, my heart racing, and my mind reeling. What was that dream?

I hoped she hadn't, though. I walked over and pulled it off the wall. It was still intact alright, but the colour had faded and seemed likely to break if I was holding onto it a little harder. I could feel Frank's blue eyes burning my back, wondering. “Your grandfather was such a nice man. He gifted this to us when we were seven but I lost mine. This is your mother's,” I said to him. “Mommy says he's in heaven with the angels,” he shrugged, then bounced off the bed. He rummaged through his desk drawer and brought out a smaller but equally blue and stronger dreamcatcher. “This one is mine. Uncle Wyatt gifted it to me for my birthday.”

Then, what in the world was this? She opened the package to find an exquisite black gift box that was wrapped with a ribbon. However, there was no brand on it. This couldn’t be an expensive item, could it? She opened the box hesitatingly, ready to refuse the item if it turned out to be expensive. However, she was perplexed when she saw the gift inside — it was a dreamcatcher, delicately laced with white feathers, with a transparent crystal around the size of a thumb hanging in the middle of its weave. There seemed to be some kind of fine white-grey powder sealed in the crystal.

' Kyra thought. Tyler chuckled. "Don't worry, I don't charge money." Kyra frowned. "So I should be thankful?" Tyler didn't answer Kyra's question; instead, he grabbed the paper bag under the bed and handed it to Kyra. "What is this?" Kyra asked. "It's a dreamcatcher. I can tell you're having trouble sleeping by the way you appear. You have dark rings in your eyes that make you look like a panda." Tyler said. "I'm not sure whether you're offending me with what you're saying," Kyra said.
