Maya's POV The first international order shipped on a Wednesday. Forty pieces for Yuki in Tokyo, wrapped in tissue paper with the VOSS mark embossed in the corner. The boxes were stacked by the door from eight in the morning. Elena and Sophie packed the pieces while I sat at the cutting table and did not cut anything.

Lena's POV. “Hello, ma'am,” the doctor waved his left hand, and felt my pulse with his right hand. “How many fingers am I holding up?” “Can I get a name? Can you speak?” He continued, not even giving me a chance to think or respond. He suddenly stopped and pointed a little fluorescent light in my eyes. I squinted and groaned inaudibly from lying stiff for far too long. “Four, My name is Lena, and I think I can… talk,” I replied in a second, gulping as the man behind him moved closer and fixed his gaze on me.

Maya looked worn out, like she hadn't slept in a while. Toby couldn't say anything, he imagined he looked the same or maybe even worse. Toby just stared at Maya, he wasn't really in the mood to talk and was waiting for his friend to explain why she yelled his name. Samuel was standing a little bit behind Maya, Toby gave them both a suspicious look. "Let's go do something fun together, take our mind off things" Maya said, she looked like she was talking to a fragile child, that any moment Toby would break. It slightly annoyed Toby but he understood why everyone was treating him like that.

She threw her head back, giving him a once-over. "Which is?” "Your name. What's your name?" "Tequila." she replied in a snap. He stared at her for a jiffty, his face breaking into a huge smile before he finally burst out laughing. She smiled too.his laughter was damn infectious. "Seriously?! " "My name is yara, it means a small butterfly." she said with a burgeoning excitement laced undertone. "It's a beautiful name" Toby remarked, still wearing a fond smile. "I guess so.
