The way Liam looks at you—that’s not normal.” Anna fell silent, her words caught in her throat. “And this red mark,” Agnes added, brushing Anna’s hair aside to expose her neck. “How shameless.” Anna met her gaze steadily. “You’re mistaken. I have no intention of taking anything from you.” “Intentions don’t change facts,” Agnes snapped. “Your position remains the same. You’re just living here out of charity. Don’t forget that.”

Violet's POV After that meeting with Vlad, the next few days exploded. Our shop phone catered more calls than usuals. Our online page blew up. A few emails marked urgent and the appointment requests filled slots I hadn’t even opened yet. By the third morning, my phone wouldn’t stop vibrating, and the booking system was all red. Fully booked. “Vi,” one of my secretaries called from the front, half laughing, half panicked, “did you secretly announce a sale?”

I said quietly. Alyssa's footsteps were drawing closer. Shawn straightened his cuffs and walked away without looking back. "We'll talk when we get home later," he tossed over his shoulder. "I'm going back out. Don't let Alyssa see you." "There you are, Shawn! I've been looking everywhere," Alyssa chirped as she rounded the corner. Shawn shifted half a step sideways, his tall frame deliberately shrouding me in the shadows of the hallway. She tugged at his sleeve, her voice dropping into a practiced, pouty whine. "Shawn, my flight got in so late that all the hotels downtown were fully booked. Could I crash at your place tonight? Please?"

The fact that they more or less showed the series of emotions in the same order; is what cracking me up now. Jacob is the first one who comes out of the trance; he shrugs and says, "Clearly you are not going to answer me also I don’t care as well just for your information Mellissa is a bad news, so be careful with her. Gymnasium is under general repair, it takes place every November as a protocol.” Damn, this school has a system of general repair, which is done annually. My last school barely repaired the broken toilet seats and wash basins. I really don’t even want to think about Melissa, she was a bitch to me; I was one to her back. That’s it!

Everyone was engaged in conversation when I arrived, so I quietly took my seat, which was directly across from Ryan. Thank God the punch didn’t leave any bruises on his face. I sat down, chewing on the small chops served at the table. Then realization hit me—the conversation I’d had with Ryan came rushing back. I’d forgotten about it because of Anderson. He wants me to marry him again after everything he’s done to me over the past four years? Does he think I’m so cheap that he can toy with my emotions? No. This is insane. There’s no way he meant the nonsense he said.

Even though the doctor said in the past that there was just a ten percent chance that the treatment would work, ten percent is a huge value considering your condition. If you want we can easily schedule and start a treatment routine immediately." Asher said happily and Simon nodded however he did not smile. “When is the business conference in Paris scheduled for?" He asked again. "Next week." Asher glanced at him. "Okay schedule an appointment with the doctor. Let’s start a treatment routine after the conference." He said and Asher felt excitement bubble in his chest.

Dinner is ready” a voice informed from behind the closed door. “Just give me a minute” Joe answered and then turned his attention back to the book he was reading. “Don't worry, it is not a sad event, it is just that I shouldn't have been given such preference over the elders” Joe read further. “Peter! Your therapist is here for another section” Lucy alerted. “Thank you mother, I will be there in a minute” Joe replied and then turned his eyes to look at the book.
