I appreciate his insinuation that they aren’t doing their jobs, but I fear for him as well. “Isn’t your little boyband having dinner soon? I thought I heard something about you eating early then patrolling again. Don’t let us keep you.” Jeff asks, wandering around. My ears perk up, but I don’t dare look at Ben. I didn’t say anything to anyone about eating early except for baiting the listening device. “Jeff really can’t be dumb enough to just throw that info out, right?” I ask my wolf. “He’s been hit in the head few times. So, we can’t be sure.”

He growled "Are you keeping counts on me?" I said with a bit of laughter in my voice as I put a hand on my hip. "Haha, not funny. I’m serious Tara." He said in a profound tone "It's Miss Tara for Jeffery." I smiled pulling my sit out, Jeffery held it "I think you’re forgetting something." He said "Oh yeah, my coffee, where is my coffee, did Layla forget to make me a coffee." I looked at my watch "Looks like I’m not the only one who’s late today."

After the call, Jeff was ready to head back to the box. Instead, he encountered Dude and his companions. Dude recognized Jeff and directly stopped Jeff. "Are you Jeff?"
