“Aunt Memory! You’re here!” Lorelei shouted as Memory came through the door of her dad’s house, the same one she’d grown up in. The four-year-old rocketed up into her arms, and Memory just got them open in time to snatch her up. “My goodness, Lor! You just saw me yesterday!” She giggled and patted her niece on the back before the girl shifted so she could see her pretty face. “I know, but we’re making gingerbread houses with Grandpa! And you can help!” Lorelei wiggled, and Memory set her down, her fingers quickly caught up in the little girl’s sticky hand as she pulled her to the kitchen.

Waking up, Lorelei felt very disoriented and could remember hearing Liam’s voice in her sleep, reading their former favorite poem to her. She sighed and couldn’t believe they went downhill and he left her for her sister. Though she was disoriented, her eyes adjusted to the light and were met with several maids scurrying about in her room. She lifted the quilt on her frame to her chin in self-consciousness and though she was fully dressed beneath, being thrown into scenarios like this and having to forcefully accommodate people wasn’t something she enjoyed doing.

Zee answered without a filter so Lorelay immediately threw a pillow at him. "Hey! That hurts!" He whined but Lorelay glared at him. "He is very rude to you. Good thing you're not my Ob-Gyn.” Lorelay said and gulped down her gummy worms. Zeebal snorted and looked at the TV in front of him. “Who is your Ob-Gyn? Ms. Sandovial? I'm better than that." She shrugged and ignored the maid, who looked at her age of 24, with long black hair and brown eyes. Loreen 's eyes blinked, and she turned to the other maids. "I am hungry. Make something nice for me." She unlocked her phone and began to browse through it. She wasn't quite affected because she never cared about the etiquette shit. The head maid's face puckered in displeasure at how Loreen didn't show any reaction to the behavior she showcased. Her brow creased, and a grin crept onto her lips. "Nobody should prepare any breakfast for her." She announced to the maids, resulting in them stopping what they were doing and turning their heads to glance at her.
