His sister’s fork had dropped to her plate, and KJ was looking at him like he had grown a new set of balls.
“I am getting married.”
“Brother, are you insane?” KJ asked.
“Not everyone detests marriage like you,” Camilla answered.
KJ shook his head, picking up his fork to finish off his dinner. “I don’t detest it. I just think he’s too young to tie himself down.”
“He’s twenty-eight,” their parents chorused. Seeing that they spoke at the same time, they grinned at each other. He and his siblings groaned. Their father looked away from their mother to say, “You’re not too old, either, KJ.”
