After that, he would move on to ruining Roxanne’s life, he thought darkly. At that inopportune moment, Wythe hurried in, his phone in his hand. “Terry just called,” he said, his voice low, uneasy. Snake turned to look at him with his good eye. He had taken to wearing a patch over his bad eye. It made him look sinister. “What’s that?’ he snarled. Terence Peat was the man who they had managed to get inside the Mafia men’s household, A man who was deeply in debt, whose son was being held for ransom by Wythe.

Pete is called an outlaw because he doesn't follow the law, and the king wants him for stealing from the royal treasury countless times. I met Pete—or rather, he found me—when I was eleven, stealing from fruit carts in the market. My mother had just died, and my father was away at sea. Pete grabbed my shirt collar and shook me until I cried. "What are you? A little thief?" His loud voice echoed. The scar on his left cheek made him look rough, and his two-colored eyes, like a wolf's—golden brown and black—gave him a mysterious look. "Orphan?" he asked angrily.

“Is my fan club staying upstairs in the Inn?” As he started stocking the refrigerator under the bar, Pete shook his head. “Nah. Said him and his mates are staying up on the glacier at a hunting cabin. Some big game kill of a lifetime thing or something.” As last night’s events came back to him, Pete looked at the stack of papers on the counter. “Hold on…he gave me a card to give you. Said you’d know exactly why he was here.” Looking through the bills, Pete clicked his tongue. “There it is. Mitchell Riley, Jr. Fantasy Creature Sport Association.”

I'm Kaitlyn Sawyer and I'm still having the heebie jeebies for goth girl over there. "I'll rather have her here than some other people." "Call names and we are gonna have a friendly talk Greyman." "Let's all calm down. Hello, gentle soul, what's your name?" The fatso was next. "I'm Pe...Peter Pound." He stammered out and fingered the hem of his shirt. "The fuck you are." Grey shouted. "You don't look anything like Peter Pan." Brandon said. "It's not Peter Pan you fucking Bozo. "

I winked at him before straightening up. " You're not the only one," he assured her, "I also found out some interesting things about you yesterday.” " Like what? " I felt our conversation take a dangerous turn, but I couldn't help asking. Peter watched me for a moment before he spoke again " I just wanted to thank you for helping me with all this. I hope you like chocolate.” " Are you using food to thank me, Peter? " I sneered, "You're on the right track.” " Gavin Stewart was here this morning," he commented, "Our immigration interview has been scheduled for next week.”

I patted him on the chest and turned toward the railing, watching as three men began to battle the waves in the small skiff, their oars beating helplessly against the unforgiving sea. "No shifting on the boat, remember?" I turned to Young Pete, the newest member of our crew. He nodded, his head bobbing up and down as he did so. He was just a pup, really, freshly twenty-one and full of the angst and adrenaline all young men possessed when they finally came into their powers. I never took pollywogs so young, but Pete had nearly begged on his knees for the opportunity. Looking for his mate, most likely. What better way to find a mate than by mopping floors on a smuggling ship for a few months?

Peter greeted taking a seat on the only empty seat available. " Gentlemen, this is my friend I told you about, Peter Maxwell, " Joe said about his friend. The older gentleman who looked to be in his seventies with piercing laser brown eyes looked intently at Peter. " Your friend here tells me that you require our services. " Peter gulped and turned to his friend with a question as to who the man is in his eyes. " This is Percy Smith, owner of Dabomb corps, " Joe answered. Peter frowned. " Never heard of you guys. "

Peter took his seat behind his desk while Owen took a seat opposite Peter. "That must have been a wild night, Owen. Tell me all that has happened." Peter requested. "I will do that, Mr. Quinton; but before I share last night's events with you, I need to know something; and you are the only person that can answer my question." Owen replied calmly. "That sounds serious, Owen. What is your question?" Peter asked. "Mr. Quinton, is Jim Yates and the underground mafia working for you?" Owen asked directly. In Owen's mind, he knew Peter would want him to be direct when asking Peter questions. Therefore, Owen did not hesitate to ask about Jim to Peter, point blank directly.

After that, he again lowered his baseball cap and said to Pendragon, “He is Leon Perez, the head of Perez family here in Strego City. Look for him if you have any requests. “Although I should remind you not to overdo things.” “Goodbye!” Pendragon waved at the man in the leather jacket, seemingly annoyed at the nagging he just received. Obviously, he was not too thrilled at the idea of getting schooled by another person. Leon approached Pendragon with a smile on his face and extended his hand, “Nice to meet you, Mr. Pendragon. I am Leon Perez.” However, his hand was left hanging in mid-air, as Pendragon seemed to be ignoring him.
