Teaching her a lesson

Teaching her a lesson

As to the question of the duration of the effect, what she'd found was only marginally less useful. Serenex suppressed the fight or flight system in the brain, while the influx of its chemical compound damaged that portion of the brain in the process. In effect, it meant that the memories of being dosed couldn't produce those responses either. (I'd given Taylor props for applying the metaphor of a scar over the brain's panic button. Not perfect, but considering the source...) We had no way of knowing if that would extend to the added mind-altering effect, but it was cause for hope, at least.

This book although taboo, brilliantly done. Original content and vividly described. Well paced. Thoroughly enjoyed and Im not even done with it yet. 30 chapters left. Def worth the read and def should be rated higher. Must be cuz of the subject matter though.

Really well-written, and very hot! It is so nice to read a book on one of these platforms without egregious spelling and grammatical errors! It lists this book as ongoing, but there haven’t been updates in a while. I would love more!

The Alliance

The Alliance

Lily, my cousin and family doctor, was my only lifeline in this sea of panic. "I have a question," I choked out, my voice hoarse from dry heaves. "Rosalina? What's wrong?" Her voice, usually infused with warmth, was replaced with concern. "Is it possible to get pregnant while you're on birth control pills?" I blurted, the question tumbling out before I could stop it. "Asking for a friend," I added lamely, the absurdity of the situation only amplifying my fear. There was a stunned hush on the other side. Then, "Not if you take them before twenty-four hours after having sex. Is everything okay?"

Mafia Heir's Contract Wife [Mafia Games V]

Mafia Heir's Contract Wife [Mafia Games V]

But, I did almost miss a day's dose while we were in Montreal. “'Yan. Kagagahan mo kasi...” I sigh, chastising myself under my breath while staring at my phone screen, once again reading the side effects of birth control pills. Nausea, headaches, bloating, mood changes, fatigue, and menstrual irregularities are also listed. Just like with the morning-after pill. But the mere thought of a delayed period just hits different. Like a deep, aching stab in my gut refusing to be dismissed. “No. It's not possible. I took 'em right away,” I murmur to myself, covering my eyes with my fists. I took the pills the soonest possible.

The Prince and His Sex Slave

The Prince and His Sex Slave

"I still think you should get on birth control as soon as possible. It will help calm those hormones down a bit. And mind you, those condoms don't always work." "But Julia said she feels hornier because of birth control." "Nothing should stop you from being on birth control unless you want to go through the nightmare of abortion and other mental traumas that come with getting pregnant with an unwanted child." "Ugh! I got no intentions to have sex with any of those scumbags." "You can't run away forever. You are going to run out of excuses before that. Got food poisoned, slipped in the bathroom, bitten by a snake or scorpion... and then what? Got TB??"

Oh please keep updating this gem of a book. Love the characters a lot.some scenes like Ian cooking, them huddled together in the cold at the wagon stop, that mountain town etc roll in front of my eyes when reading. It’s become a part of my routine and can’t stop now. Very well imagined & written❤️

Slavery: A series of erotic games (book 04)

Slavery: A series of erotic games (book 04)

Julia cleaned me off. We were cuddled together on the bed, basking in the aura and relaxation of completed and wonderful sex, prime fucking, all three of us replete. Becky said, "I suppose if I got a girlfriend, I wouldn't have to start birth control again." As relaxed as I was, it took about ten seconds for that sentence to impinge on my actual, conscious, wide awake, logical brain. "What?" "Birth control. I won't need it if I get a girlfriend. You know, no sperm."

Curves and Basketball a BBW romance series

Curves and Basketball a BBW romance series

Syncere asked looking at the doctor. “Well test has always shown that the effectiveness of those pills and some birth controls like the patch, goes down the bigger you are. So it is entirely possible that if Miss Nelson took a plan B even within the time frame it didn't work. Seeing how all she has been through and the fetus to still have a strong heartbeat, says that baby is blessed and highly favored. I have to go to a meeting with the doctors in charge, so we can go over her file and figure out the best options for her. Please understand that she is still in danger, we have to test for brain activity since she coded again for an unknown amount of time.

I love/hate everything you write. I love the books and I hate the roller-coasters they all send me on but I'm a gluten for punishment because I love reading your books more than anything I've read in years. Thank you for the down to earth relatable reads. Always taking me on imagination journeys.

I love the development of the characters… first time reading a BBW book and I must say I love it ! I think what I love most is the confidence that the curvy women display… it’s refreshing… that the main character Essie isn’t body shaming herself i just love it so far … I also love the names !!!!!

The Jewel of Your Love

The Jewel of Your Love

Ten minutes later, Rachel received some news that left her dumbfounded. "My goodness, can you believe it? Katie has been taking birth control pills, yet she's planning to conceive. Maybe she should consider having her brain checked rather than her uterus." Yvonne sensed something was amiss. "How come someone who's been taking contraceptives ended up at the hospital because of infertility?" Rachel processed Yvonne's words and asked thoughtfully, "Are you saying ... she didn't take the birth control pills voluntarily?"

You Watched Me Break, Now Watch Me Rise

"He's been feeding me birth control pills since I had Harold. No wonder he came up with an excuse to take me off my vitamins after I became pregnant with our daughter. Then, he got me back on them after I lost her. "My daughter's death… Did it have anything to do with the birth control pills, or was it solely because I accidentally slipped and fell down the stairs?" "Birth control pills aren't toxic, but taking them for a prolonged period will still affect one's body." Ashley held Beverly, afraid that her knees would buckle and she would fall.

Entwined With The Alpha

“I do not think that’s possible. There are things that are impossible, even for supernatural beings like us. We do not self-destruct unless we are compelled to do so by someone higher than us. Not by our other selves.” “Does all this have something to do with the birth control herb you placed me on months ago?” Aaron asked, pacing around the room. “How do you mean?” “The side effects are what Zera is experiencing, and I haven’t experienced any of those effects since taking those pills.” “I do not think there is such a thing. The effect of the pills will be on the one taking them and not the other.” Ivan answered. Aaron ran his trembling hands through his hair and turned away from Ivan. “What

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

We Divorced Now He Wants Me Back (Billionaire Contract Wife)

We Divorced Now He Wants Me Back (Billionaire Contract Wife)

“Is there any day you missed taking them?” I searched my memory, panic flickering in my eyes. My mind had been foggy these past weeks — endless board meetings, the tension at home, the sleepless nights replaying old arguments. Had I missed a day? I couldn’t remember. “I… I don’t know,” I muttered finally, my throat tightening. “Sometimes,” she said gently, “birth control pills don’t always work.” Then her voice softened, hesitant. “Don’t you want the child, ma’am?”
