We sat. Neither of us spoke for a while. The city beyond the windows pulsed with distant light, normal and unaware that something monumental had just ended inside our living room. “I suppose,” I said after a moment, “this means I am unemployed.” Dream glanced at me. “You have a job.” “I meant narratively.” He huffed faintly. “You were never particularly obedient to the narrative.” “That is true.” Silence returned, softer now. Without the system’s hum in the background, I could hear everything more clearly. The faint tick of the wall clock. The distant rush of traffic. His breathing.

That is why I call myself the Water Witch. "That doesn't feel like the whole story," I say grumpily. 'That's because it isn't,' the voice chuckles in my mind. 'But I don't think you are ready for the rest of the story.' "You are just like everyone else," I sigh. "Who is just like everyone else?" A voice comes from behind me.

For me it was a work of seconds all I had to do was to say and it was supposed to happen. I told you earlier, I'm the one who's responsible for everything and I'm the one who's lead in this story of paranormal timelines. Because I'm the Narrator, and whatever the hell I say is supposed to happen. It's nature, and I'm the creator of nature, I'm nature myself…?
