*Tanner* Days bled into one another as I navigated the labyrinth of contacts I had scoured together in the hopes of finding anyone who could help me decipher the diary. Each morning, I woke with determination, armed with my notebook and a growing list of potential translators. I was the dogged hunter on the trail, but every time I arrived at a meeting spot, I was left alone, standing under the weight of my unanswered hope.

But it seemed too late; I could feel the chains on my sword starting to wrap around my arms. [Narrator’s POV] The sudden noise drew the attention of everyone, though they were in different positions and places, their gazes were all locked into one direction. They knew something different happened in the dark realm, but they were all clueless about it except for the three creatures rushing themselves to save their friend.

My voice did not shake. The man tilted his head. He didn't have a face, just a shifting darkness where his features should be. "You can call me the Reader," he said. His voice sounded like paper rubbing together. "I am the one who pays for the ink. I am the one who decides if your story ends here or keeps going." Bryan stepped in front of me, his hand on his pistol. "He’s another code, Hazel. Don’t listen to him." The Reader laughed. It was a dry, thin sound. "A copy thinks he has a choice. How cute."

the words wheeze past my lips with maximum efforts ,I feel my lungs caving in with much difficulty ,the throbbing and the numbness taking over my senses Who am I What the hell is going on What is happening “oh mi ... .ss, miss are you okay” the man's voice sounds again bringing more of my senses alive ,the more the seconds go by the more things come back to me . My name is Alexandra Ross ,I am 23 years old ,I was just coming from a club where I left my best friend who was lying to my face ,but it's not her fault because she is losing her grip on reality and I am a shitty friend for not noticing.

Narrator's pov Kael stood rigidly, his fists clenched at his sides, fury burning through him like wildfire. His father's gaze remained locked on the note, disinterested in the conversation Kael was trying to have. The audacity of it—the indifference, the disregard for his emotions—pushed Kael to the edge. "Father," he growled, his voice low and controlled but brimming with intensity. "Can you hear me?" His father didn’t flinch. He didn’t even look up from the parchment. Instead, his fingers slowly and deliberately traced the edges of the note as if he were reading something more important than the conversation unfolding.

he just shrugged. “I –” I was feeling very confused but I just answered him. “I am actually faster. The field is not level so I am running much slower. I don’t want to bother mom and dad by getting hurt here,” I spoke as I pointed around. “You are faster than this in your human form?” he asked with great surprise. I just shrugged and continued to walk. “I am Nash, by the way,” he replied. “And you are?” and I halted at his name.

I leaned against the counter of my apartment, watching the city blur beneath the rain-streaked windows. “Why?” I asked. A pause. Then, “Because it would stabilize things.” There it was. Not because I want you there. Not because it matters to me. Because it would stabilize things. “I’m not part of Navarro Enterprises,” I reminded him calmly. “No,” he said. “But you’re still part of the narrative.” That sentence settled into my chest like a stone. “I’ll think about it,” I said. “You always do,” he replied. He hung up first.

His tone was laced with alarm, a stark contrast to the calm, steady demeanor he always projected. I looked around the empty bathroom, the cold tiles beneath my feet grounding me back into reality. No, there was no one here. No one but me and the ghosts of my past. "No, Savaş" I finally managed to speak, my voice shaky "I didn't see anyone. It's just...I think...I need to leave. For good"

For the 50th time I looked at a particular direction. "Do you really plan not to let me go. I sincerely promise not to appear in front of you ever again. if I die here you would be a murderer" I kept on babbling. How did I know that there is a camera in the room. The Nanny told me. Well is not like she told me. I asked her and she showed me perfectly so everyday I make sure I stand at that spot and repeat my words. I guess this is how my life is. No matter what happens nobody seems to care.
