Here I am, loving the pain they're giving me as much as I can so it would finally leave me alone, so that they would stop inflicting pain to me. .

I soliloquized in pain. Furthermore, I was distressed and lost. I couldn't pinpoint how I felt. My whole being is lost. I'm burning with pain within. I wish someone will bring me out of this dilemma and pain. Why is it so hard to make a decision?. Is it always this hard to make a decision about one's mate? . I'm really confused and done for. I know that I was to hurt her but no one told me that it hurts this much. It hurts more than I imagined.

"We do get hurt, all of us do. But we couldn't compare what I had to take to what you had to take as if we're trying to outdo each other on who's pain was not enough." She raked her fingers through his hair soothingly and sighed, "Pain is pain, no matter how you see it-no matter what angle you'll look at it. I don't need to compare my pain to yours because they're both the same-they're both pain-and in the end we both suffered-we both lost." "Eunae-"

I guess her answer is clear enough is it not ? ' Maybe she doesn't know what mates are ' Cade whines . ' If she didn't know she would have asked . She really doesn't hold back from asking questions , you know . ' Pain should be voluntary . However , it isn't . No matter how much you try to ignore it consciously , no matter how much you convince yourself that you don't care . Your soul knows better and it makes you suffer for it . It makes your heart beat and clench painfully , punishing you for what can never be yours . Perhaps it's meant to be this way . It may be for the best .

I muttered with a hardly discernible voice. "You don't have to apologise," she said softly as she sat down next to where I lay. "I know you're sad and heartbroken and all you want to do is cry and hope the pain will go away but my darling,we both know life doesn't work that way,crying won't help in healing this, it will only make your eyes hurt and give you a really bad headache”, Her hand found mine, her touch light but forceful.

On my side, I was the clothes soaked with so much pain. It hurts and I didn't have anyone to tell how much it hurts.

She could barely think straight, her body wracked with pain. Groaning softly, Katie tried to focus on anything but the agony that consumed her. The weight of the past few hours—the fight with Garrett, the cruel words, the tension, and now this overwhelming pain—felt like too much. It was as if her body had betrayed her, holding onto the anguish that she couldn’t escape from. Just then, the sound of footsteps echoed down the hall, faint but unmistakable. The heavy door to her cell creaked open, and a young girl appeared, her face pale with worry as she saw Katie's condition.

I put Sean down on the bed and turned to Caleb. "Me? Trying to be strong and pushing the pain away? THAT IS WHAT I'M FREAKING TRYING TO DO! I'M TRYING TO BE! I'M TRYING TO PUSH THE PAIN AWAY! I DON'T WANT TO FEEL THE PAIN ANYMORE. I'M DONE. I'M DONE LETTING PEOPLE LIE TO ME! I'M DONE LETTING PEOPLE HURT ME! I'M DONE FEELING THE PAIN! I'M DONE BEING CHEATED ON AND LIED TO! OH WAIT, WE NEVER EVEN HAD A RELATIONSHIP! HOW STUPID AM I?" I said and laugh at the end. "WHY NOT JUST TAKE THE PAIN AND SUCK IT UP? YOU'RE MY MATE, OKAY?! IT WAS MATING SEASON AND I DIDN'T WANT TO SCARE YOU BY JUMPING YOU. -" I cut him off.

But I can never feel the burden or pressure that you feel with the burdens you have. When one of us feels pain, it might hurt me to see you in pain but the truth is, I can never understand how much you are hurting no matter what. It's TRUE that I might have gone through the same situation but how we handle different scenarios and the pain we feel can never be the same.
