Nothing, her stomach dropped, empty. She looked at him, her face unreadable but her pulse roaring in her ears. Giovanni smirked. “You didn’t really think I’d let you walk in here loaded, did you?”
But he didn’t see the quick glance Amy threw towards Isadora. Isadora’s voice was smooth, almost lazy. “Lucky for you, I have very loyal people, comrade. The kind that can be anywhere… even in your little mansion.”
