夜の6時、宇川康穂（うかわやすほ）はいつも通りキッチンに入り、いつも通りの夕食を用意した。 7時、康穂は浴室に入り、風呂の用意を済ました。 8時、康穂はパジャマとスリッパを用意し、扉の前であの人の帰りを待っていた。 だがいつもとは違い、立川司（たちかわつかさ）は帰ってこなかった。代わりに一通の電話が彼女の元に入って来た。

Un autre se retrouve à la place d'un mannequin dans une vitrine de vêtements et un troisième échappe de justesse à une mort certaine. Le Cercle de bêtises à résoudre l'énigme de la mort de Juliette, une jeune fille autistique morte dans un accident de la route quelques années plus tôt dont seule la main a été retrouvée sur les lieux de l'accident. S'ils découvrent ce qui est arrivé au corps de Juliette, ils sauront peut-être qui cherche à éliminer les anciens membres de l'équipe de volleyball de Beldecour.
