Her hands were sweating; even her forehead sweated cold. Her knees were trembling, and she just wanted to return to her room. She heard the other guests whispering and gossiping about her, but her confidence was boosted when Beta Dillon whispered enough for her to hear. “Look up, Emily. . .” he said, convincing her. “. . .chest out and be confident in walking towards the alpha’s seat. Raise your head and intimidate them with your strong aura.” Beta Dillon said. Slowly, Emily raised her head, flashing her cold and intimidating aura as she walked toward the ruthless alpha. Everyone in the crowd was looking at her, others were smiling, but few were looking at her unimportantly.

I allowed Naima to surface and extend one of her claws. “I, Luna Lory, unite you with my mate, Alpha Jackson,” I said, taking his hand and using my claw to make a small cut, letting his blood drip into the bowl. “And with myself,” I added, cutting my own palm to let my blood join his.
