I wondered if she noticed my horns. “I’m new in the capital. I would like to purchase a building I can use as a home and a shop.” She turned around, and walked to a table full of maps. She came back with 3 papers rolled up. “Right now we only have 5 buildings available. Do you know what kind of shop you want?”

She felt relieved when she closed the doors and went back to her seat. Like any other assassin, she had done her research. She was iconic in the fashion industry and had her own fashion line and was an investor in many popular cloth and shoe brands. She was rich, famous and was head over heels for Levi Wushi. She would be thirty in a few days and just the thought of that, brought another sad memory to her. “OMG! It’s Candice,” Zara squealed in excitement and didn’t wait for any introduction as she gave her a hug. After disengaging, she said, “I am a big fan of your works and honestly, I knew it was you who set all this up. Thank you so much. You don’t know how happy I am right now.” Candice smiled and said, “You can thank your husband for that.”

Kylie turned to me then. “lets get in the mood first” she walked to the mini bar and poured us a glass of wine. “to your union” she said and the both of us drank from our glasses. After drinking we started to test the dresses. Roses seemed to have very good taste in dresses because all the dresses were very exquisite and beautiful. I’d tried many of the dresses abut Kylie didn’t seem satisfied and my feet were killing me. “can we take a break?” I asked for the tenth time.

My father, Edward, stood beside me, refusing to even offer me his arm. Through a small gap in the doors, I could see the front row. Zara was already there, holding court. "Zara sacrificed her own happiness to save her family's business. She gave up her place as the bride so her sister could have a billionaire husband. And Kira doesn't even appreciate it."

At twenty-four, she was already working on starting her own company independent from her father and brother. Her twin sister, Clare Ford, was into computer science and a low-key skilled hacker. She worked in the Ford Corporation as an IT administrator. "Yeah... he likes to keep to himself but he's always there for us... I feel bad about not being able to help him with his problems," Clara Ford chipped in, a pout on her lips. She looked like Zara but she had a mole just below her right eyebrow.
