Six feet tall, scarred, with eyes like obsidian and fists like steel. She wiped the blood from her knuckles and dialed a secure number. “Roland’s dead,” she said. “But the others are active. Should I engage?” A voice crackled on the other end. “Find the girl. Grace Ashford. Kill her first.” Jade smiled coldly. “It will be my pleasure.”

Offering a military salute by crossing their hands over their chest they stood facing her. Jelena Savage was not as old as one would expect from the leader of an entire race. She was only 17, even younger than Axel by a whole two years! Her hair was braided just above both her ears, her eyes watched coldly like a hawk and inside them, one could sense ruthlessness emanating from her whole being. She walked out as Drake looked back and whistled. "Damn... finest woman in Bar Harbor." He stood and slipped his hands in his pockets as his eyes raked across her. "Jake would beg to differ."

Her facial expression softens when she sees me but hardens after a few seconds as she turns her attention back to Tanis who moved to the center of the room and stopped in front of her.

Lydia asked. Jade rolled her eyes. Lydia had always been sarcastic and arrogant. "It's easy to find you after all we are sisters," Jade replied. "That's true. Well since I became a well know supermodel, the way the humans would call them, I do not have a sister but many people who loves and look up to me," she replied and Jade shook her head. "Whatever," Jade rolled her eyes. "Of course you would say that. After all you are famous for saying Tristan Stone or rather Tristan of the shadow moon pack harassed you," Lydia snickered.

And she encouraged it. That was because she was angry and bitter and didn't have focus. Now she has all the joy in the world. Mason and Liam. She has every reason to live a worthy life. She has all the money and power and influence so nothing will take this beautiful life she has built for herself. No one. Not even this goddamn empire. Jade stepped out in a beige three piece suit and her hair in a slick gel to the back. “Mrs. Stone.” Denzel nodded as he walked down the stairs with her.

Jades pov. I jump in the shower and get ready. I’m not even sure if this is fancy or relaxed. I’m going with my normal. A grey oversized sweater and nice wide legged jeans with some slip on shoes. A few turquoises rings and necklace. My long black hair is so straight. Maybe a braid,I think to myself. let’s leave it down. I put on light make up. Just enough to make me not look tired and stressed. I look at the clock and have about a hour till dinner. I sit down and check on Wyatt and the ranch. Luckily everything going smooth.

He quickly asked me to put a robe on and meet him in the living room. I did as he said wondering who was there at the door. Maybe it’s Alison with some emergency about the next fashion week’s ramp. After I put on a robe, I came to the living room to see my mom. Of course. Jake was already irritated. Yes, my mom could annoy a person within 0.001 second of meeting them. That was her superpower. She was entitled and proud because she had achieved a lot in her life. She was the former beauty queen, married a rich man and lives an extravagant life.
