Baylor POV When we walked through the door of the conference room ’Shammus’ started chanting again as the staring guy came forward with his hand extended to shake mine. “Baylor, good to see you. I am Clive Kelly and this is Phineas Brody my best friend as you would say. The other fellows here are Fergus, Aidin, and Arthur,” Clive said as introductions. “This is Kenneth Goldberg and Mitchum Averman, my best friends.”

Though I was gambling with my life for him not to find out quickly, there was nothing I could do if he found out quickly. Alpha Kyle was rather observant and I was sure that it wouldn't take long for him to notice that I was missing. Even though I wanted to increase the speed at which I was moving, I found it rather impossible. The pain and weakness in my body made me unable to move faster than I was already moving. I was probably going to collapse if I tried to move faster than I was already. I could only hope Alpha Kyle wasn't going to discover my disappearance any time soon. I needed to buy myself a lot of time or else, I was going to be doomed if he discovers.

Jared pointed out the moment Zeke’s face came into view on the screen. “So, Mr. Manning. You’ve come forward today to make a very rather controversial revelation,” the reporter prompted. Zeke’s face was set in a little frown and he seemed reluctant to speak. “Well.. umm.. I suppose,” he answered with a shrug of his shoulders. “You published a video online a couple of days ago claiming that the CEO of A&M…,” the reporter began again.

Tyr turned his head to Zeke and explained, “Nothing much! Just a trivial problem. We will be able to solve it pretty soon.” “Mr. Summers, I’m so sorry that you guys encounter trouble here. But, please, allow me to handle it.” Zeke patted Tyr’s shoulder before he walked toward Barton. “Are this group of Celestial Empire men your friends?” Barton communicated with Zeke in Thai. Zeke nodded and asked, “How have they offended you? Who are you?” “My name is Barton. I’m the person in charge of the club. I’m going to take a hand and leg of each of your friends today. You are not allowed to have any opinion on that.”

“What do you want?” Beta Zeke stood at the top of the mezzanine stairs a few feet from my bed. He had a black leather jacket, black jeans and white vest. The white of the vest highlighted his olive skin. I already knew he was ripped underneath, thanks to Livi providing me an immediate flash of remembrance. Those dark eyes stared right at me. With no emotion, “I’m heading back north.” “How long are you leaving me here for? I can’t stay here forever! I should be at Cragstone”

She stares at me for a beat longer, like she's looking for the joke, and then she gestures toward the door and I leave. Zeke is leaning against the wall outside the administration wing with his arms folded and that infuriating expression of mild amusement he wears specifically when he's trying not to laugh at me. He's in the standard Westbridge uniform, blazer and all, which still looks faintly absurd on someone built like he is, because Ezekiel McCarty was not constructed to look like a prep school student. He was constructed to look like someone who gets paid to stand between dangerous things and the people who need protecting.

The policeman speaking was one of the leaders of the patrolling team, a young man named Zeke Palmer. He joined the forces soon after graduating from his training and was known for being a righteous man. He stared at Rebecca with such a sharp look that she froze in shock, but she was only taken aback for a brief moment.

I glanced at Williams, who remained silent, as if in pain. "It's nothing, Dean. A friend of mine came to visit, and I was happy about it all." Dean looked at Henry, who smiled and extended his hand for a shake. "Hi, my name is Henry, and I'm from the Lycan pack. I used to be a beta to Williams here, but I guess my rights have been taken away." I observed how Dean shook hands with Henry, then turned his attention back to me. "You need to rest, Sierra. You know I don't like seeing you this way."

I was disappointed for her as she had worked so hard to get here, but in the end it wasn’t up to me, or my choice. I did make a new friend though. His name is Zeke, and he’s the teacher’s aid for our pediatric care class. He’s not sure if he wants to go on to be a doctor, or become a professor. He said time would tell. He seems pretty nice, and we get along well. When Lexi isn’t available he’s become my study partner. I’m not sure if he’s supposed to be doing that since he’s an aid, but he’s been helpful. He’s about 5’7” with dark brown hair, and brown eyes. He’s a little on the skinner side, but in his own way he’s kind of cute. He’s not an Omega like me, but that’s fine too. He's from a sm

His eyes remained wide open for a while as he rolled them from time to time. They lived far abit, but a walking distance from Ban, a city that he is said to have abandoned due to an overturn and was overthrown by an Omega. He was strong, but never stronger than his Omega. Ozouf then decided to leave to the upper side of the hill as he lived with Viv, Phelan their daughter and Ziff as well.
