Zara's POV Levi shuddered and turned green; he appeared on the verge of becoming sick. "I am mated to his son, Kyle," Levi declared as he stood up and paced my room. "He is my second chance mate." "Alpha Wesley has a son?" I gasped in surprise. I cannot recall ever hearing of or meeting Kyle. Did he attend the mating ritual? "Yes, he does! How could you possibly believe that I was mated with that old fart?" Levi asked, his voice tinged with disappointment and rage.

We all stared at our feet in shame. "What is the meaning of this? Where have you four been?" Zeke spoke first. "We were with Blackmoon." He couldn't lie? Was he insane? I wanted to wring his neck. I peeked through my hair to see Alpha Zade's facial expression drop. "Blackmoon? Why would you go there?" Zeke gestured at me. "Vivian has relatives there and wanted to learn more about her history." Alpha Zade turned towards me. "Vivian. Why would you endanger your packmates with something so selfish?"

Half an hour later, after sitting for what seemed like ages, Kellan finally emerged, looking like the King he was. "Finally, King Kellan! For a minute, I thought you weren't gonna see me." Zeke said, standing up on his feet. He bowed his head slightly, a smile on his face. "To what do I owe this early visit?, It's barely 9 o'clock in the morning." Kellan said icily, glaring at Zeke. The young man looked like a clown to him. Everything he'd heard about him crossed his mind, worsening Kellan's mood. However, Zeke was the son of a notable and well respected Alpha Maverick of the Darkmoon park. It was hard to turn him down. He walked to the opposite sofa, and sat down. Waiting.

Jennie said in sarcasm. “Not now, Jee.” I stated rolling my eyes as I laid on the bed for a goodnight sleep. The time was probably too early for me to sleep. I just didn’t have anything to do anymore. The door banged open revealing a very attractive Alpha Zale in just in a towel wrapped around his baby maker, water droplets all over him. I stared at his well-shaped abs. It was like it was calling out to me to run my hands through but when I looked up at his face, he wasn’t even staring at me.

Zeke slowly opened his eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar environment, everything was white and the light was almost blinding his eyes. He saw a shadow coming from a distance and on impulse he moved closer to the figure too until they both came face to face and he was surprised to see Ava’s dad. “Father in law?” Mr Brown smiled, “so you finally address me as father in law?why didn’t you tell me the truth zeke?I left my daughter’s happiness to you” Zeke sighed as he moved closer, “ I am sorry father in law, but Ava already knows everything and we are happy together”

Zane’s POV I walked inside of Velvet Fist as the intense sound of music rushed in my ears. I don’t even know what I am doing here, I just know that I need to find answers. Answers which my own father is denying me of. I need to know the real truth. The absolute one before I tell it all to my sunshine. I just hope she understands why I kept it away from her. “Zane?” Uncle Beck's voice came from behind and I turned around to see him chug down a drink, looking a bit sulky.

Levi threw himself onto the bench next to me with a dramatic sigh. "What's up with you?" Zara asked. "When do we get to meet Noah properly?" Levi stabbed a tater tot with his fork, glaring at it. "Introduce him to you vultures? Ha! Never."

Leer, Zeke's wolf mumbled. “You do know that's impossible right? And I don't need her,” Zeke retorted. “You saw the letter,” He added softly. “I don't care what Darius or the council of elders think. I need my mate and I mean it,” Leer snorted. “I care about what they say, alright and you would obey me,” “Then it would be much of a delight watching the pups die,” Leer said and withdrew away. “Leer!” Zeke called, only to be met with silence.
