He whispered to me. Beta Leo walked in. He closed and locked the door. "Shall we begin?" Alpha Zev and Luna Maisie directed everyone to form a loose circle around me. Beta Leo opened a massive book and began reading. "From time immemorial, our people have welcomed our new wolves with a ceremony to recognize our pack connection and strength. The Moon Goddess gifts us our wolves. We are stronger, faster and smarter when we work with our wolves. We honor the Goddess by accepting our wolves and allowing them to take our physical form and make it their own. We each must learn to respect our wolves, and our wolves must learn to respect us."

I asked, chewing my lip. "You will speak to your wolf. Eluna is her name, correct?" he asked. "I will speak to her...? Is that all?" I asked, holding the warm cup in my hands, taking another sip to ease my nerves. "She will help you. Trust in your wolf," he said as he moved from the table and stood up.

Remus asked when Zeeb seemed visibly relaxed. “We found a trail. The scent of wolfsbane. We have reasons to believe it was from the Hybrid.” Zeeb said. His anger once again rising. He couldn’t help it. Every time he was reminded of the demise of his pack, rage felt like it would choke him.

The fragile peace, painstakingly rebuilt after the internal strife, was shattered by a chilling discovery. During a routine patrol near the Whisperwind Glade, a young Duskwood wolf, Elara, stumbled upon a series of ancient, rune-covered stones, half-buried in the earth. The runes, unlike any seen before, pulsed with a faint, unsettling energy, a cold, ethereal glow that sent shivers down her spine. She immediately reported her finding to Lyra, who, recognizing the gravity of the situation, summoned an emergency council.

Naomi ordered. "Got it" said Rhys. He ran off an started gicing hand signals to some of the wolves who were not engaged in immediate battle who followed him and Naomi to the enterance of the office. Three witches stood in the way. Two of them Naomi recognised from high school and one she had never seen before.

Frozen in place, she watched as only half of the men on their side shifted and were terribly outnumbered, but they dove forward, nonetheless. Wilson's face appeared in front of her, shielding the view of the fight and he ushered her towards the cars, ready to escape. Her head turned back anyway, seeing a darker wolf jumping into the brawl and she assumed it must be Gil–the realization giving her a flicker of fear. He jumped over another wolf in an arial attack, slashing down at the enemy's face and preventing him from biting.

Warned us. I gave her a curt nod. Pulling her to the corner, out of harm's way. Walking back to the rectangular prism on the floor, I looked closely and saw they indeed linked the lines of the triangle with a trail of amber powder. Wolfsbane. I shifted to my wolf. Lethal canines were out, ready to rip into prey, and my claws were ready to strike. Zelda said a spell, protecting herself from any other unknown spells meant for a witch and using her foot immediately cut through the line of wolfsbane, breaking the long link.

The uncertainty gnawed at me. I flipped through the pages, absorbing every detail. The text described the white wolves' abilities in vivid detail: their capacity to heal wounds with a touch, to manipulate the elements, and to draw strength from the earth itself. These abilities were a direct gift from the moon goddess, who had created the white wolves to maintain balance and harmony in the world. The other wolves, lacking these divine gifts, grew resentful and ultimately conspired to wipe out the white wolves to eliminate the perceived threat to their own power.

“Who we are does not matter, what matters is that the Wolves will die tonight!” Zephyr huffed, produced out his sword, and quickly sprinted towards him. “Ha! Do you not know where you are? I am Ghost! You will not be spared tonight!” he replied. Seeing Zephyr rush over, Ghost steadied himself. “Wolf’s Howl!” Ghost howled, with that the attack started. Even though he looked barbaric and unruly, he was very careful. Seeing how many of his men had been slaughtered, even if he did not know who Zephyr was, he knew he was formidable.

They were smart enough to be scared but too loyal or stupid to run. Zora did not wait for them to attack. She moved first, closing the distance to the nearest wolf in the blink of an eye. Her hand stretched out and grabbed its muzzle, forcing its mouth closed. Then in a single motion, she lifted the entire wolf off the ground and slammed it down hard enough to shake the earth beneath it. The last two wolves finally broke and ran, disappearing into the forest with their tails between their legs. Zora let them go, turning her attention back to where Zendaya had fallen.
