Ziyad stared at James and said, “If more living beings from the Endlos Planee wish to join the Dieux Academy, they can head to the Central Plane and participate in the assessment. As long as they pass, they will qualify as disciples of the Dieux Academy.” “Alright, I get it. You can leave now.” James put away the invitation, waved his hand, and chased away his guests. “Let’s go.” Ziyad did not say anything more, either. He quickly issued an order, and his group boarded the battleship. Soon, they left the Endlos Plane and entered the Dark World. “That brat was too arrogant. Why didn’t you teach him a lesson, Ziyad?” “Yeah. He’s from a small plane but was so cocky toward us.”

The atmosphere reminded Damian of his own family outside the academy. In front of him, Zen appeared like a ray of hope, similar to how the gamer felt back in the cave hearing Sasha’s voice. They were born in a very dark world and thrust into a life full of blood. Yet, like a lotus, Zen was the only one who grew up untainted by the ugliness and rot. The academy was a place for candidates to develop their true potential. Of all the students he observed, Zen repeatedly proved with statistics that he had the highest potential to become the next godfather.

The same team where I'm the assistant coach. The Moon Eclipse Pack runs one of the most elite academies in the country. The Moon Eclipse academy—a place that grooms the one percent of the one percent prominent werewolf heirs—Alphas, Betas, Gammas. A place where ranks matter more than brains and where anyone without a prominent family name is disposable.

"The people from the Academy will be here soon. Wait." The Academy. Hayley caught that immediately. "What Academy?" she asked. An older man stepped forward. His badge also started with an A. He looked her over from head to toe. "How many gifts do you have?" "You answer me first," Hayley said. "Then I'll answer you." The old man paused, then nodded. "Fair enough. You've been selected by the Sovereign Academy. There's no harm in telling you a little. "The Sovereign Academy represents humanity's future and hope. We're led by the core members of the Academy, focused on researching the zombie virus. We search for the strongest individuals to take part in that research.

Jared and I have been living in Arcadia, our capital city—named after the ancient city where Selene’s werewolf son, Lycaon, first settled. The first of us. Our Arcadia honors our forefather and serves as the heart of our world. It houses the governmental seat and the academy where wolves and witches train side-by-side—learning to fight, to hone our affinities, and to wield our Goddess-given gifts. From ages 18 until we find our mates, we live and breathe the academy. It molds us into the wolves the Goddess meant us to be.

We have; House Artemis and House Apollo which boards the Year Ones, then House Persephone and House Hades for the Year Twos, and finally, House Hera and House Zeus for the Year Threes, aka the seniors, aka us that are ready to hightail out of this shithole, fancy ass, elitist boarding school. Around the whole campus is a ring of thick forest, beyond which are the high gates that keeps us safely trapped, like an expensive cage. When mom had driven me to the school as a Year One student, I had been fascinated and excited to finally grace the halls of Acadia Academy. A week later however, I wanted to burn it down. It was Bibah who wrestled the matches out of my hands, figuratively and literally

Above the academy, beyond stone and steel and wards meant to hide truth. The sky cracked. Not lightning. A seam. Something vast moved behind it, blotting out stars as shadows rearranged themselves into impossible geometry. The mothership. Zara stepped to my side, her hand finding mine without hesitation. Power coiled around her like a living thing, no longer curious. Awake. “You wanted a test,” she said coldly to Dr. Voss. The academy shuddered again, harder this time. “Congratulations,” Zara finished. “You’ve failed it.”

“I’ve contacted someone at Academy to help figure out what’s wrong with your powers.” “Really?” My heart races with excitement. “Does that mean my powers will be unbound soon?” “Yes, with luck. Soon your wolf will be back,” she replies. “And Academy...” I remember Hera telling me that Sheila was Academy’s youngest Head Herbalist. “Can you tell me more about Academy?” “Academy is a research institution, like a werewolf university. The best werewolves from Europe and even the world gather there to study. They also conduct various research programs.”

"Because from where I'm sitting, it looks like you bought yourself a convenient sacrifice." Something painful crossed his face, there and gone so fast I almost missed it. "Think what you want of me. It doesn't change what's coming. The curse is accelerating. In ninety days, during the Blood Moon, it will consume everyone in this academy unless we find a way to break it." "And the only way to break it is my death." "That's one way." Caspian moved toward the door, then paused. "But maybe your Truthsight will show us another. We have time. Use it wisely."

“What is that?” “The vision I gave you showed your future as the leader of the gifted academy. We will open an academy for the gifted, for the descendants of the Gods and Goddesses. In this academy, the Demigods will be taught to harness their abilities and affinity to the elements. The academy students will be the peacekeepers of the Earth. Each student will be invited to join the academy on their 21st birthday and transcend to the Demigod status. Your destined path is to set up the academy and be the academy principal. You will lead the gifted from Harlech Castle.” Selene tells me. “What is my decision to make?”
