The Lunar prophecy
A rogue, armed with a silver-tipped gun, took aim.
Time slowed. Nathaniel dodged the bullet by a hair's breadth, his reflexes lightning-fast. With a powerful swipe of his paw, he knocked the rogue to the ground. In a swift, deadly motion, Nathaniel's jaws closed around the rogue's throat, ending the threat.
I rushed to Nathaniel's side, relief washing over me. He stood, panting, his eyes locked on mine. Pride swelled within me; my alpha had single-pawedly taken down multiple rogues, despite their treacherous silver bullets.
