They could transform others at will with just a bite but that differs between species. It hasn't been really tested on a dhampir but Rapidfire was not ready to try that out yet.

I turned around in time to see AJ walking towards me with a big grin on his face. I had seen him so much in the past four months since our first meeting on the street, I've thought for awhile he must be following me. I forced a smile as my eye was drawn towards the man beside him. They were the same height, the new man had dark, almost black, hair with the same bright blue eyes but instead of a smile he was wearing a plain expression I couldn't read. Before the apocalypse, they called me soft for keeping "useless" cats. Not anymore. They think they're so capable? Let them handle it. These zombies were different. They bit with intent—no stopping to feed. Before the lion or the crocodiles could react, over half the crowd was infected. Blood flooded the air, thick and metallic, pulling in more zombies.

"Scarlett… Scarlett, I'm sorry! It was that bitch Vicky who seduced me, but… I always love you! Please, release the cats! Let me in!" I looked at him, my gaze free of hatred, only a trace of pity. "Too late." A thin, vicious line appeared across his arm—the mark of a zombie bite. He had already been infected, just not yet transformed. Sure enough, no more words came from him before his eyes rolled back, turning a lifeless gray-white. I opened the door and patted the cats on their heads. "Go." Leo and Luna swelled in size, each swiping with a paw, smashing zombie skulls to pieces.

Making Nikka wonder if she's letting out some anger, with the courage to interrupt she said, “Sis Kate, how’s your injury?” Kate using her uninjured left hand has amazingly managed to kill all the zombie showed on the transparent screen, hearing Nikka she replied without leaving her to stare to her targets, “I can already move it a little bit but I still need a whole week to fully recover.” “That's great...” Nikka replied after winning the game for countless times, and lips move to asked once again, this time her voice has a trace of hesitation, yet bravely stare at this cool woman and asked the thought that was stuck on her mind, “Sis Kate, how's Zitrey's condition?”

However, the sound effects and their cute little high pitched cries made him swallow hard. Kittens! How could they model these pink slimes after innocent kittens?! One of the things about zombies that stayed with them, no matter how much of their thinking and motor skills returned was the fact that they had poor night vision, depth perception, and were color blind. Those factors went in her favor since the opening to the root cellar was beneath a very realistic looking shrub that was attached to the trap door. Its coloring varied from those it was amongst only by the slightest degree and, unless you ran your hand over it, you’d never guess it wasn’t real. Combine that to the fact that it was nighttime, and she felt safe in her selection of hiding places.

They dug up their hidden secrets and anger against each other, but I couldn't understand. Firstly, I didn't know why they had such strength, and secondly, why did they seem like vampires or werewolves? "Are you humans?" I mentioned, and Kidd looked at me. "He already knows," he said, glancing at Daniel, then suddenly leaping before me. "Because you've seen our true forms, sweetie, you need to die now," he smiled at me, revealing his long fangs that weakened my entire system. "This will be quick. Just close your eyes," and as if under a hypnotic spell, I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for him to take my life.
