The sky was dark save for the moon that hung low in the sky it casts a strange glow over the kingdom. Inside the palace, the tension was real. It was the kind of tension that shook even the strongest of men. It was the usual Fortnight ceremony where the wizard takes a look into the future of the kingdom. The king and his subjects watched as he performed his rituals, making strange sounds and incantations. The wizard's screams echoed through the huge hall, a sound that would haunt the memories of those who heard it for years to come. "Doom! Doom is coming!" he cried, his voice trembling with fear. "A werewolf will bring ruin to us all!"

Weakened by days of starvation, I take every ounce of energy that I have left within me, and I feed the flames until the ball begins to grow within me, lighting me up with power. With one last garbled scream, the energy pours out of me, sending out hells flames in all directions. Consuming and destroying all that lies in its wake. I watch in satisfaction as Darren’s startled body is engulfed by fire, his mouth agape in a silent scream and eyes wide in shock. The first zombie broke through the defenses, its rotting fingers grabbing the edge of the deck as it climbed up! "Ah!" Screams erupted instantly. The zombie was bloated. Its eyes hung on its cheeks as it lunged straight at me. "Clarissa!" Hans yelled, immediately raising his gun and aiming at the zombie in front of me. The next second, he was immediately drawn to Winnie's scream. "Hans! I'm scared!" He hesitated for a second before immediately turning his gun toward the zombies near Winnie. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach.

Rudolph asked in a confused tone. Diana wondered about that too. Zombies had a kind of instinctive sense of coexistence which made it almost difficult for them to clash. Besides, they needed to have brains to be able to think of clashing. So she studied the Zombies for a few seconds until she saw something shocking. The zombies had fangs. She could also see the outline of fur erupting from the zombie on the right. She hadn't noticed it earlier but the zombie on the left was deathly pale. Diana gasped as everything clicked.

What I saw was the most horrifying sight I had witnessed since the apocalypse began. The first time I saw zombies trying to climb the walls, I’d already worried about the possibility of intelligent zombies appearing. To prevent that from happening, I used the system to reinforce the walls and coat them with an impossibly slick surface. Afterward, any zombie attempting to climb would simply slide back down, which gradually eased my concerns. I never imagined I would one day witness something like this. The zombies were stacking themselves on top of one another like living building blocks. More zombies continuously climbed over the bodies beneath them, using the pile itself as a foundation.

Screams tore through the B2 level. Martha and I bolted for the stairs. Marcus stumbled behind. The smell of blood hit us like a wall. In the makeshift chapel, Sister Catherine was on her knees before the cross. A bloody hole gaped in her neck. A zombie was hunched over her, greedily tearing at her flesh. It had crawled in through an air vent. “Oh God…” Marcus retched. I grabbed a nearby iron chalice and slammed it into the zombie’s head.

The evolved zombies that had their own consciousness and who was chasing after the woman earlier stopped their tracks. They recognized the girl that the woman was approaching. They encountered Xiaza before they had evolved. The lingering feeling of being surrounded by these evil girl claws still left them to fear Xiaza more that they wish they won’t encounter this little girl anymore, who knows that this day was an unlucky day for them, they shouldn’t have. The zombies looked at each other and started to talk in a strange language and manner not far away from where the amusing little Xia is standing. It had been easy to distract the hycwens with a sudden appearance, yet the hycwens were a notorious breed known for their bloodlust, though they were a bit dim-witted. 20 feet above the ground, the hycwens' mouths continued to bicker, "Is it dead? I wanted to play with it a bit.." The person whirled around and stood on their feet in one swift move, discarding the hood.
