I say deflating in seconds. After a short cab ride, all three of us are standing at the ruins of a blown-up bus, although there are nobodies lying around on the street you can still see the bloodstains from where they were, the whole area has been cordoned off, there are still police and investigators looking around so there's not much chance of us being able to get near the site without being spotted, I stand at the edge of the tape, close my eyes and take in as much air as I can, I breathe deeply trying to concentrate on the smell around me but all I'm getting is the scent of the humans around me and burnt remains of the explosion

Ace

Ace

ACE I surveyed Miranda from the corner of my eye as I drove to her apartment. She was nervous and she could deny it all she wanted but I saw it in the way her pulse hammered against her skin at the crook of her neck, in the way minuscule beads of sweat clung to her temple, and in the way she kept fidgeting or biting at her lower lip that now sported red cracks because she wouldn't stop chewing at it.

Holy smokes!! Hell of a story!! Wasn’t expecting anything less with a character like ace, though lol absolutely amazing job author! So freaking excited for the 3rd book - when will that be out? Another amazing series that’s absolutely worth the read on here!

Usually, I am a lover of werewolf/mate story lines but The Astor brother books so far are amazing! Gunnar was great however, Ace is soooo much better! The relationship between the main characters after each chapter leaves you wanting more each time you read. It is highly recommended!

Exposure

Filet knives lined the table with precision. The place smelled like rotten fish guts and year old refuse. She wretched, dry heaving until her belly cramped. Because everything had been unsettled with Noah, she hadn't the stomach to eat before the exhibit. Grateful for that now, she sucked in a deep breath to calm herself as Soreno strode to the table and flicked on a battery-powered lantern. "The chair. Now." Her mild relief of the chair over the soiled mattress was short-lived when she glanced at the knives again. Raped or tortured. Was there a lesser of two evils there? Her teeth chattered with enough volition to make a cracking sound over the ocean swells.

Choices

Choices

“Leo” “I am on my way” Leo’s voice boomed through the link and within minutes he was racing by my side picking up the scent. Rounding the pack border suddenly the trail just ended, like evaporated without a trace. Along the ground there was a ring of burn ground and smell of smoke and the white Horehound herb thick in the air. Along the ground we found crushed Malachite, Moonstone and Amethyst crystals. "The fucking bastard teleported" Letting a howl into the night sky it was filled with pain and anger.

Mac asked, looking totally clueless. "Well, it's the same with questcussion. We'll present different situation, perhaps imaginary clients and we'll show their diagnostic charts consisting each symptoms of the subtypes of schizophrenia. We can have our block mates participating in our presentation, have them guess which is which, then finally explain to them. In that way, we're able to keep the presentation lively and interactive plus, we're able to differentiate the subtypes in a much easier way."

ROGUE

ROGUE

I was happy and I had all the things I could possibly dream of having, but it sure as hell wasn't an easy ride to get here. "Take a moment to imagine our pack captured a rogue and that rogue just happened to be my mate. Continue imagining that this rogue used sarcasm as a natural defence and had an answer for basically everything. Now imagine our father was the reason this rogue was a rogue in the first place and she had nothing left so she pretty much demanded that I earn her trust, to prove I was nothing like our father. Imagine that I did this for almost two weeks, only seeing this rogue three times in that period, during which time I killed two guards and almost killed our Alpha. Imagine

Frequently Asked Questions

The challenges in 'Squid Game' are some of the most brutal yet fascinating aspects of the show, blending childhood games with life-or-death stakes. The first game, 'Red Light, Green Light,' is a chilling twist on the classic playground game, where players must freeze when the doll turns around—except failure means getting shot. Then there's the honeycomb challenge, where contestants carve shapes out of fragile dalgona candy without breaking them, under a time limit. The tension is insane, especially when you see players licking the candy to thin it out, risking everything.

Later games escalate the violence, like the tug-of-war on a platform high above the ground, where teams literally fight for survival. The marble episode is emotionally devastating, forcing players to betray friends or loved ones. The glass bridge is pure nightmare fuel—stepping on the wrong panel means a fatal drop. And the final squid game itself is a brutal, physical duel. What makes these games so gripping isn’t just the violence but how they expose human nature under pressure. The show’s genius lies in taking innocent nostalgia and warping it into something horrifying.
