They both laugh and I hear their steps going downstairs.

He walked toward the mirror with wobbly legs and looked at the mirror, at his reflection. His face was tired. It's nothing new but there was a different kind of tiredness on his face.

Yuri locked his beefy fingers together on his chest. "For now," Dominic said. "Yes, for Now." Yuri echoed. It was no secret that should the family ever lose their wealth and power, they would lose their standing. Their enemies would close in on them, but for now, they ruled the underworld. Dominic opened the top drawer on the desk, seemingly looking for something. He pulled out a pen and a writing pad. "Yuri?" Dominic cleared his throat. "Yes Sir," Yuri answered exuberantly, ready to serve. "After the funeral is over, I want to take a wife."

Yurik gave him a look that basically said 'I told you' "I'll get Kuzma." "You don't need to walk with me, you know." I muttered in annoyance as Dominic followed behind me up the stairs. He didn't say anything and when I turned to look at him, his eyes were completely fixated on my ass. I clicked my fingers to get his attention and his head snapped up to meet my gaze. I recognised that look. There was a primal hunger on his features and I couldn't believe that with everything that just happened, he had the nerve...the audacity to be horny. I shook my head in disapproval.
