Life has some great ironies. ... "He's like a handsome devil, ugh so annoying!" Blair chuckled at her bestfriend's words. Her and Jessica were looking up Calvin Cartier online. She had to admit, with his perfectly tanned skin, pinkish lips, strong jaw and straight nose, he was no less than a Greek God. But what striked her the most were his eyes. They were unlike any other she had ever seen. A perfect mix of brown and green with some specks of gold. They looked somewhere between hazel and amber.

Pursing her lips, she pushed his arm away. "You're not seeing it properly, my love." He smirked. There wasn't any dark side hidden behind his smirk. She looked back at them. 'Matteo and Elizabeth are looking happy, so much happy. Is he trying to show me their happiness? What could it be? He said - Choose their happiness. I can't deny it. These cruel people are my family. If I'll choose their happiness, I'll choose my happiness too. Giving is the most beautiful thing in the entire world.'

"Forget it. Nothing happened as far as I'm concerned. I'm the one who should be apologizing. I put you in a weird position. Can we just forget the whole thing, and start over. Tabula rasa?" Does Arlo Finch feel the same way I do? Or am I imaging the whole thing? "What's tabula rasa?" I ask, thinking it's kind of hot he said something foreign. "It's Latin for blank slate or clean slate. I am asking you if we can wipe our slates clean and start over? So, tabula rasa?" He asks again and smiles with that dam dimple showing. And despite that dimple showing, and making me feel butterflies, I decide to shake his hand.

I walked slowly to where Alex was standing but Peace stopped me in the midway. "where do you think you are going?" "to greet Alex?" "No can do" "He has his gaze fixed on me." "then let him watch. for no reason would you leave Andrew waiting just because of Alex." Quick one. you probably think Peace is a hypocrite right? no, she's not. she doesn't care about what made sense or not. all she cares about is my happiness and if Andrew looks like someone who would make me happy then Alex can get lost. That is how it has always been with Peace.
